Hi, I am Hungee Nation. LvL 28 Sunsinger Warlock. My Background: I am a 25 year old Commercial Real Estate Broker. I work usually 9.5-11.5 hour days. I am very social(ex-frat boy) and love to party. So yes, it's possible to be addicted to this game and still be social and productive as a person... I have played MMORPGs from EQ1-WoW-Rift-FFXIV-ESO(sucked). And FPS competitively like Counter Strike, Halo, BF4, etc. You can say that maybe I am an anomaly based on the info above and my large amount of logged hours. But honestly. It's about efficiency which is learned from playing these games a lot. BUT TO THE POINT(Just wanted to give some background) [u]Reasons why this game is awesome and has a platform to grow on:[/u] 1: Lots of games that are MMORPGS(not that this is a pure MMORPG) don't have enough content released from the start. Destiny has heroic dailies, nightfalls, strikes, and raids... These refresh daily or weekly. They also have different level modifiers... Yes, lots of people have done the raid(I completed it all pretty easily yesterday with 27-28s). But have you done it on hard? I doubt I will be able to for a little while. But sure as hell will be trying it and will entertain me for a while. 2. Easy Segway from #1 to #2. Destiny already has two planned expansions Reason why ESO and FFXIV failed in the last 2 years? Players dominated the content and had no way to progress forward because the content wasn't released soon enough. We will have our first XPac before the year is out from what I hear. Pretty sure I can stay entertained trying to get the best raid gear until then. Plus, the pvp can keep me distracted as well. 3. PVP Why did a lot of people come to this game? They are Bungie fans. This is NOT your typical HALO people. And most complainers are HALO peeps who don't get the whole loot grind and PVE aspect. My RL friends don't take the PVE as seriously as me. So what do we mainly do together? PVP!?! There are several great different maps/types for PVP. They do it for fun as their main thing, I do it for rep, bragging rights, and to get my crucible marks quota... XPAC will add more to this as well. And I do hope they ass some sort of ranking/stat system(Maybe it exists but I don't know about it). 4. Visuals The game is gorgeous. The gameplay is smooth(I have Google Fiber so that might be an unfair advantage in some ways =P). But as someone who has played tons of MMORPGS on PC on high graphics... I am highly impressed. 5. Longevity 10 Year plan? IGN Article today on average playtime is 3 hours per day and 4 on weekends. WTF!? That rivals any MMO I've played. Bungie has the capital and the foresight to see this game last a while. With 2 planned XPACs, I don't see myself going anywhere soon. I am on XBOX 1. Feel free to add me: Hungee Nation.
