cave of loot
Please do something to fix the cave of loot on earth, it defeats the spirit of the game.

The easiest way to fix the cave is to fix the ridiculously nonsensucal leveling system. Otherwise players will just find another cave.

I've farmed Strike after Strike after Strike. I've farmed and grinded story mission after story mission. I've played the game the whole way through, the way it's suppose to be I played. I played for a day and a half before finally finding one random legendary engram. I have now found 9 legendary engrams and 1 of them has been legendary. I think if I feel like it I can mindlessly shoot at the opening of a cave and see what I get once in awhile. Honestly. These kinds of stupid and random crazy crap in games like this. This is what makes a game legendary and memorable for me. It's a video game and this kind of stuff makes the game a memorable experience for me because it is just so ridiculous. It's a freaking video game! A video game! It's not even real life! If I only we were so up in arms about terrible things in the real world. Don't get me wrong. I love Destiny. It's a fun game. But in the end it is just a video game. A video game a year and a half from now a fair amount of people will have stopped playing. I love Bungie and the game they have created. I know I will still spend plenty of time grinding and farming. To some the wrong way, and also to some the right way. In the end it's all opinion. Enjoy the game the way you want to enjoy it. Thanks for a great game Bungie.

In my opinion, the cave is fine. Leave it alone. I agree it defeats the spirit of the game, but if people want to play like that, they can go right ahead... Instead, what should be tweaked is loot drops on harder difficulties. Incentivize players to actually challenge themselves by giving better rewards for playing on hard, super hard, etc/whatever. That way, if people dont want to play on hard, they can still farm the cave. But if they do play on hard, theres a better chance to get a legendary. Everyone wins.

I defense of this, I played 50 hours on my hunter before I found one and I mean ONE freaking blue engram. So I feel owed some free stuff.

11 Repliesas a person that thinks the cave is lame if I see people camping it I go and sit on it so they don't spawn. I grinded mission after mission on harder and harder diff to get the legends I got. and played the game like it was ment to be played not just shoot into a cave and go pick my loot up I hope they spawn some mega unkillable monster to take them back to orbit or ban them for a few weeks or get reset and give the xbox360 users a screen shot abilty and ill have you 400 players to ban or reset in less then 2hrs of game play the ps4 and xbox 1 both have a screen shot option weres mine.

1 ReplyI walked next to the cave when some guys were farming it and they got rather upset with me. Like i was gonna take all their cheaply earned loot. I laughed and went to go actually play a game instead of mindlessly shooting into a cave

MONEY MONEY MONEY! I like to rubber band my shoot button and then leave my console, so then other people do all the work for me and when I come back after an hour, or 2, or 12 I get PAID! I got 5 legendary engrams at once one time ;D

Farming is a part of all RPGs and MMOs. Please calm down and just go about your business. You are letting jealousy get the better of you and your "pride" is on over drive... To the man below who said they should ban people. Shaaaaaaaaaap. It's a video game we all paid for and me having good loot does nothing to your playing the game.

The spirt of the game is ruined when I kill the boss on missions and strikes I get pretty much nothing.
