Third Subclass Ideas

As everyone knows, Bungie has yet to release a third subclass for Hunter, Warlock, or Titan. From what I have noticed, Hunters have subclasses for Arc and Solar, leaving out Void. Warlocks have subclasses for Void and Solar, leaving out Arc. Titans have subclasses for Arc and Void, leaving out Solar. So what I have come up with, is three subclasses for each main class that fills this gap. So far I have completed a general overview of the Hunter subclass. I will try to update with the other two once they are done. So anyways, without further ado, here is my idea for the third hunter subclass; the "Shroudbearer": Super: Shroud of the Void- Envelopes the Guardian with a shroud from the Void, making them completely invisible to all enemies Super Upgrade 1: Agent- Lasts longer Super Upgrade 2: Ninja- Move faster Super Upgrade 3: Assassin- Attacking won't drain cloak Melee: Poison Strike Melee Upgrade 1: Alchemist- Poison lasts longer Melee Upgrade 2: Life Steal- Kills with melee heal Guardian slightly Melee Upgrade 3: Plague- If poisoned enemy dies, has chance to infect nearby enemy Grenade 1: Void Blast- Deals void damage in bursts Grenade 2: Void Trap- Mine that activates when enemies step onto it Grenade 3: Poison Gas- Cloud of poison gas that slows and inflicts damage over time Jump 1: Double Jump Jump 2: Glide General Upgrade 1: Stalker- Move faster while crouched General Upgrade 2: Parry- Take less damage from melee attacks General Upgrade 3: Immunity- Immune to poison damage Please note that I left out the upgrades for training, because in most cases they are all pretty similar among all subclasses. Check back soon for details on the other two subclasses, Flamebreaker (Titan) and Arcrunner (Warlock). -Renny

  • The third slot was never a subclass, the coming expansion will be removing it

    • As promised, here is the third Titan subclass, "Flamebreaker": Super: Supernova- Blast of Solar energy from the Guardian, dealing burning damage to all surrounding enemies and disintegrates them on death Super Upgrade 1: Red Giant- Larger blast Super Upgrade 2: Divine Fire- Burning damage lasts longer Super Upgrade 3: Two smaller blasts instead of one large one Melee: Meteorite Punch- Inflicts Solar damage Melee Upgrade 1: Longer range Melee Upgrade 2: Everlasting Flame- Deals burning damage Melee Upgrade 3: Impact- Creates small explosion upon hit Grenade 1: Napalm- Grenade with small blast radius and generally low damage that causes burning damage to enemies Grenade 2: Meteor Shower- Upon impact, releases small cluster bombs that rain down Grenade 3: Fire Bolt- Bolt of Solar energy that explodes on impact Jump 1: Lift Jump 2: Triple Jump General Upgrade 1: Starborn- Deal extra damage when using Solar weapons General Upgrade 2: Engulf- Kills with any ability causes neighboring enemies to the target to burn General Upgrade 3: White Hot- All burning damage deals additional damage I'd also like to say that if you have any opinion toward some of this, it would be highly appreciated. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

      • I'd like to point out that they probably already have the 3rd classes made, not to deter you from this topic because I like the discussion. Also the titan is the only class without blink so far so they're probably going to be receiving it.

        • I think blade beam would be better. Completely directional as apposed to an arc like blade throw.(or whatever it is called) basically condensing void energy into the knife and launching it incredibly fast at your enemies. Puncture could be implemented.(complete optional)

        • And finally the "Arcrunner" subclass for Warlock: Super: Arc Beam- Cast a continuous beam of tremendous amounts of Arc damage Super Upgrade 1: Shockwave- Arc Beam creates area damage effect on impact Super Upgrade 2: Lightning Storm- Enemies killed by Arc Beam chain lighting to nearby enemies Super Upgrade 3: Short Circuit- Beam ignores shields Melee: Shock Blast- Deals Arc damage that has a chance to stun enemies Melee Upgrade 1: Pulse- Creates blast that can damage other enemies nearby Melee Upgrade 2: Taser- More chance to stun Melee Upgrade 3: Spark- Killing enemies with Shock Blast creates chain lightning effect on nearby enemies Grenade 1: Electric Field- Creates field of electricity that traps and damages enemies Grenade 2: Bolt trap- Shoots powerful bolt of lightning when enemies pass near Grenade 3: Strike Charge- Simple lightning bolt fired from the hand that seeks enemies Jump 1: Glide Jump 2: Arclight Bridge- Run across thin air for a short time General Upgrade 1: Power Up- Kills with abilities increase running speed General Upgrade 2: Grounded- Take slightly reduced Arc damage General Upgrade 3: Charge- When receiving arc damage, reduce melee and grenade cool downs
