No it -blam!-ing isn't?! this guy is obnoxious and -blam!-ing aggravating. I could say so much about why he's wrong or a dumbass, but i wont.

I do think that for those that felt defiance was a let down, and dust514 is a joke. Destiny succeeded in doing what it said it wasn't. It not totally a mmo, but by the endgame it really feels like one. And it does it better then any so far on consoles. Warframe what? DCUO? No. Those that love to churn and grind and get stronger will love this game. Those that don't beat Darksouls and jump into another game, no but keep playing DS to get stronger, those will love destiny. What happened with done and won stories? The kind that you pick and play and jump into another game? They over at nintendo. And i don't mind it. games asking for more investment, into thier worlds is awesome. Maybe it's my clan mentality, but we stay in games months on end, diseccting every bit, till another game comes in that we move to. And for games like destiny, come back too. Rainbow Six and The devision are coming down the pike. Asking for more commiment then just pick up and play and discard with a "well that was a nice story" It annoys me, when many discarded Last if us after beating story, and moved to another game. "Well TLOU was awesome. Can't wait to play my little pony now!" Damn man! You just actually missed on one very interesting part of the game! Multiplayer! Very engaging with a social aspect to it, and cool way of putting your real life loved ones pics in game. That alone extends the game for months. But for those people game ends in 2 weeks. Tsk.

21 RepliesI agree with what he says, but a few little notes he missed or "forgot." 1: Bungie SAID that there will only be two expansions and then 10 years of FREE content to evolve the game. (However, that does NOT excuse the lack of content at launch.) NOTHING ELSE we will have to purchase to expand the game. 2: They designed your character to be YOU and not a character you are following. 3: The traveler emits a shield around the city protecting it from any hostile invasion. (thats the reason for the persistent heavy storm around the city because of the energy of the barrier.) Of course this isn't explained in the game but if you look at the scenes where you see the atmosphere around the traveler there is clearly SOMETHING going on there. Now, I love the game so far, its a ton of fun in MY opinion but it does have issues that should have never existed in the first place and had a satisfying self contained story with varied and interesting missions. Hopefully this will all be fixed FREELY soon.

6 RepliesEverything he said is 100% percent correct. Ontop of that he missed a few things that are wrong with this game. 4 years of developement for this game and they can only produce incredible music and art. The PvP is good too. Its f,ucken rediculous. So damn glad FIFA 15 came out.

I watch joe for the entertainment value, but he brings up a lot of valid points, I do not agree with his opinion on pvp but I think the review is good.

1 ReplyHe made some good and valid points. Even with Joe's exaggerated rage and the evil corporate villain man I think the review was quite fair to be honest. Destiny as it is now is keeping me entertained and I'm enjoying the game. Does it have the potential to be so much more and does it need improvement? Yes, very much so. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying the game as I am now.

13 RepliesJoe got it wrong... at 18:30 he says that the bit with the Queen was to push the DLC... well, DOH... the Weekly Update told us that the Queen's Wrath is coming this month... and the first DLC is in December. Hence Joe is wrong.

Destiny is a one those games that has it's big faults yet somehow still gives me a urge to log on daily, it could be the gameplay to be honest. I believe Bungie, unless they don't have the common sense to do so, will improve and...and remove that well how can I put this...umm remove that DUMB MOTHER PHUCKING PIECE OF SHET NOT KNOWING WHAT 2 PLUS 2 IS LAME A S S DEMORALIZING, DID I MENTION POS, RNG SYSTEM!!!!!!! On a seriuos note though they need to do something about that alongside other things.

However, I expected a brilliant FPS that I could play solo as and when it suited. But also with my buddies to have fun into the early hours grinding and pvp. Destiny does get that merge right and balanced IMO and whilst I agree that the story needed to have more info included via interesting NPCs I can't stop playing it! I really do hope that the blocked corridors that hint at other areas plus doors that you can open but currently cannot walk through. LET US IN with future patches for FREE =]
