Eventually you will farm. It's inevitable. You will sit in front of a cave or in a small area or in front of some mighty doors and you will pour thousands of rounds of ammo into enemies until you get what you need to get/upgrade your legendaries/exotics. You'll do it in your big boy pajamas. You'll do it fully clothed. You'll do it in your tighty-whities. You'll do it eating food or listening to music or drinking a soda. Either way, you'll do it and you'll like it... all night long.

Edited by IshihadoX: 9/21/2014 2:53:59 PMAlright... I do farm (which is why I made this post) but there are some things a lot of you are assuming that are way off. First of all, from farming, my Cryptarch level is 18. Secondly, my faction level is 3.5 with the Vanguard. Thirdly, I have done every strike and raid mission (minus Vault of Glass). I do the dailies and weeklies solo, even. I always hit my cap on Vanguard marks. Not Crucible, though, simply because I'm not really that in to PVP. It's not like all farmers just sit in front of that cave doing nothing else. I, and most others MAYBE spend about 5%-10% of our play time farming an area. The rest is playing the game. So that pretty much blows your idiotic theories about "making the game boring" or "so much else to do" right out of the water.
