Yeah I had some matches with considerable lag... People disappear My shots don't hit enemy players I get killed instantly I think it's bungies servers, I have no lag playing other games considering I'm on ps4, destiny is the only game with lag I currently play

Just unloaded a full mag on a 25 I'm 27 and he took no damage and it happens most often once a game but I never really hear or see anyone kicking off about it even finding this page was drowned by aw lag sites

The lag is shocking considering what you have to pay out for to get on the game you think they would fix it but as more updates the worse mines get.

Here is something for you to think about... I cannot use the radar due to colour blindness making red all but invisible... but when the game works right I actually CAN compete (see [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR/1/4611686018429815427/2305843009224711123/215580848?_]HERE[/url]). It's just when the lag hits and other players are stuttering, shots don't take effect and we get instances where you can punch the enemy and he dies and then he punches you and you die... after he has died. The instances where you try to aim your gun and it appears to freeze and in space and you can't move as you are being shot... How do you compete in situations like those. I also hate the frame rate drops... I'm guessing it's not helping because it is on Xbox One... I think I'm going to setup my recording rig and make an example video about these problems... but please don't do a PS4 vs Xbox One fanboy rage.... this is about (hopefully) getting Destiny fixed.... because, yeah, I love the game otherwise. It's been loads better than the BF4 laggy launch at least... it's just that at launch the game seemed better than it is now. More... stable at matching people up. Actually, the link I posted above is a level 12 Hunter. It's my Level 25 Warlock that can't seem to hit anything lol... Could there be a problem with the balancing algorithm?

The lag in PvP is insane at times. You trade deaths way too often. You'll kill a guy first and then you will die a second later. It's annoying and needs to be fixed.

Yes, same here. I can shoot PvP opponents straight in the face all day long without hardly chopping down any of their health bar, and they can drop me with 1 shot from any gun at any distance, or they can just run across the map straight at me through all of my bullets & melee kill me with 1 hit. Happens to me all the time. So many WTF moments. It's like the awful Black Ops & MW3 out-of-sync netcode all over again. Loving Destiny otherwise.

It's because PvE is on a dedicated server and PvP is peer to peer. Peer to Peer hosting with lag comp, so that poor kids and kids in rural areas can buy and play the game too, has ruined online Multi-Player shooters. Get used to it. Until we are ready to pay to play on dedicated servers, this will be the story. That's why I don't play PvP unless I have to and haven't bought a COD since black ops 2.

Lag happens in other game modes. It's just not as noticeable

I think they may have fixed it. Played a test round this evening and it was a LOT better. Still had instances where my fire did squat and then I died. I knew I did squat because the enemy emblem showed full health.

More and more people are speaking up. I thought I was the only one lagging some guy even messaged me over PSN telling me to pay my cable bill lmao! But I have a really good connection too and before this weekend everything was fine. It seems to also only be happening in Crucible.
