Auto-Rejoin Strikes Matchmaking Upon Disconnect

Hello, I have Charter internet playing on the PS4 system and even with a static IP and forwarded ports (NAT 2) there is still massive packet loss on the ISP side which results in me being disconnected and removed from the game world, often. This occurs anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours into play. Before anyone tries to say something might be wrong with the PS4 or anything, I have used my PS4 at my brother's place which has Verizon FIOS and had zero connection issues over the span of 3 days of 24/7 connection. Often this results in having to completely redo the first 1/4 or 1/2 of level 20+ Strikes since the game is designed to start you back in Orbit upon character login. Something common on PC MMOs is that if you are disconnected as result of internet loss or extreme packet loss disrupting communication is that when you log back in you are placed back in the same environment or location and/or party that you were in upon connection loss. My question is, why could this not be an implementation for Destiny and/or why was it not implemented from the beginning? It seems like a rather simple, albeit significant, piece of oversight considering the type of content that was produced and aimed at the level 20+ player. The average level 20+ Strike mission appears to take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes for most players; no internet connection is perfect and there are bound to be the random disconnects from time to time. As it stands now a disconnect results in a significant chunk of time and progress lost due to having to repeat the same content for little or no reward, pending whether any nifty Engrams drop or not. So why can there not be a feature in which if a player does not disconnect from the servers of their own free will, i.e. basically they simply lose internet connection and did not intentionally leave the Fireteam, then that player's spot is remembered for 5 or 10 minutes in whatever activity/location there were engaged in and upon login within the chosen time frame. If a player does not log back in with that particular character within the chosen time frame then they will be in Orbit like the current system operates. This would mean a uncontrollably disconnected player will be able to continue a Strike or story mode mission without having to start over completely or having to wait for the match making process a second time. I do not believe this system would work well for the Crucible, though I am sure many other players would want this feature to apply to the Crucible as well. This is definitely possible on consoles, all you need to do is look at FF:XIV. It quite literally operates exactly like its PC counterpart (this title actually allows PS3/PS4/PC players to all play together) in terms of character location login. Obviously the way the server's and net code are setup are drastically different, Destiny appears to not be coded as a proper MMO per-say but more like every map and environment is a temporary dynamically created multiplayer match, much akin to something like a Halo multiplayer match. If this is the case I'm not sure this feature is something that could be implemented, however it would be an extremely nice quality of life addition should this feature become implemented. TL;DR If you get disconnected and log back in with the same character within 5 or 10 minutes then you start wherever and in whatever Fireteam you were in when you got disconnected instead of back in Orbit. Please implement this feature. Thank you for your time.
