Starting over...

So I was thinking of starting a new class either Hunter or Titan, as I am currently a Warlock. Is there any recommendations on which to choose etc? I know the Hunter class is currently being dubbed as massively overpowered, so does that take the challenge of the game away? Also, if anyone else is thinking the same of starting fresh, fancy joining up to help get through things quicker? I have a Ps4 and my PSN is fng_I_omega_v

  • Well I for one can not argue with a Hulk-smash to the ground. I will be making a Titan class. Also, I have some decent equipment for a Titan already!

  • Don't listen to the haters, the Hunter is not op, every super has it's strengths and weaknesses, this is not what should drag you away from a specific class. Look at how fun the abilities are. Initially I chose a Warlock as well cause I'm a fan of the coating but imo the class is not as fun as the others. This time I chose the Titan- The abilities really suit my play style, hulk-smashing the ground and dashing into a group of enemies to hit 'em with your shoulder is immensely satisfying .

  • Currently Warlock also, and started a Hunter class (@ L11). They have low armor and recovery, but good agility. Truth is, I see some kick ass from all three classes, so I think it's really just a matter of knowing each of their strengths and weaknesses, and how to counter. I'll say don't listen to the "it's OP!!!" since there are plenty of other players who know how to handle/counter. *shrug*

  • Like I say I wouldn't know if it is or not, just that's it is being dubbed as OP. The Titan defence is a killer I'll give you that! I hate it in PVP haha. It's making it a little harder to decide now! I Think I may make a Titan clad just purely for the defence, it's always good to have.

  • I really enjoy my Titan Defender subclass, there just something about popping your super, then standing there unkillable and taking out 15-20 enemies with melee.

    • The hunter is NOT op, I repeat, the hunter is NOT op! It takes a lot of skill to use the hunter super because you have to time it just right( I never do lol) because if you don't, u don't get any kills and just look like an idiot running around with a gold gun or glowing sword. The best I have ever done was with blade dancer and I was about to come around a corner so I unleashed it and the whole -blam!-ing enemy team came around right when I unleashed it and I got the whole team at once! It was space magically awesome!!

    • They're not overpowered. They take skill to use and whenever someone gets outsmarted a Hunter, they thinks its OP.

The hunter is only overpowered on standard PVE missions and strikes. For higher level strikes, raids, and weekly nightfall strikes, you use their entire energy bar just to injure one "ultra" enemy.
