Some of you might be too young to remember Marathon, Bungie's original FPS. I remember playing this in the days of dial up and had to wait forever to get enough players for a match. Both Halo and Destiny are like the better-at-everything little brothers of the trilogy. I think it would be awesome if they had legendary or exotic throwback weapons like the dual shotguns or the staff. Bungie's always had some form of melee weapon (not to mention a heavy interest in melee in their games.) I just wanted to throw it out there as a Marathon fan. Let's use this thread to post if you stumble upon any Marathon-related Easter eggs or things like that.
