So my 2 friends who I have been playing Destiny with since launch have finally had enough with the bullshit that is the Cryptarch and legendary engrams. We all really liked Destiny at first and as soon as we hit 20 we went to go look for Purple engrams, we farmed for a good 10 hours (one or 2 hours each day) and we managed to find about 25 legendary engrams between all of us. The first few engrams turned out to be blues. "Ah well shit I guess we just gotta try again." We said. so we got some more and tried again "well -blam!- only useless blues let's try again" at this point the game stopped being something we enjoyed and became more of a chore and we stopped logging in more frequently because of this and so today we finally get some more legendary engrams to decrypt "oh look more blue gear to dismantle..." That was the final straw... After decrypting nearly 60 "legendary" engrams between ALL OF US not a single one became anything better than a mote of light. I have lost nearly all interest in this game and hope bungie is looking at how many people are actually quitting because of this.... With my 2 friends leaving there is nothing motivating me to play this game anymore and what's worse is that if this is what the next 10 years of Destiny is going to look like then count me out. The games only been out for a week or two but in my opinion this is something that should have been fixed day 1. The reward system is so broken I have seen pay to play games that do a better job of rewarding good play (crucible) and not so damn RNG based. At this point Destiny is just one big RNG monster swallowing so much time for legendary engrams and giving people who actually do well in the crucible nothing but a headache if I'm still around to respond I will but I wanted to leave this here for someone to read and maybe understand where I'm coming from. To be honest I only wrote this to vent my frustration, I'm to addicted to Destiny to quit now and I have received good advice from all of you. even the people who told me to stop bitching and crying it is very good advice.
