More benefits for teaming up

First of all the standard statement from my side: I really like Destiny, I am completely hooked but cannot tell exactly why. I love FPS, RPG and loot and Destiny gives me that. I love the graphics and the artwork. While I am not a big follower of story lines I have to admit I still feel that the storytelling could be better. I am fine with it but I am a bit sad about the lost potential. I want to know more about the mystique backgrounds. I hope we get to know more in the future... But to my initial idea of this post. As the media (and the developer) proclaimed Destiny as a shooter-MMO I'd rather say it is Diablo-esque with its loot and cooperative gameplay. But still I think there can be done more to make grouping and coop-play more interesting. I am talking about buffs and debuffs for instance. Why not giving drop boosts for loot and glimmer while teaming-up? Or different, unique skills / skillsets for every class only activated while in a group (e.g. healing rate, shields, loot, xp bonus, damage, etc)? THis would make cooperative gameplay more attractive (especially while on patrol missions) and would also make a difference between the classes. I miss a bit the nice feeling of a well balanced group and re-skilling for different tasks / group compositions and synergy effects.
