To All Guardians: Sign The Chat Petition [2200+]
Destiny is a "shared-world" shooter which allows us to either explore the world with our friends or with others online. With friends it's great because we can communicate. However, if we want to meet new people in the tower for instance or out on patrol (or any other event), we cannot talk to them?! Please add a proximity chat of some sort!

5 RepliesEdited by BillydSquid: 9/18/2014 2:32:10 PMNot just proximity chat, it needs a full blown in game clan system where we can see who's online/ in a game, invite them to games, advertise that we want to look for a team to raid with. MM fire teams need immediate chat, it's bullshit that you have to invite your fire team to a fire team to hear people in a game you've just been put into. Text chat windows so you can advertise to random people you want to raid, make a team, looking to do weekly heroic missions etc. Invite them to games/ be invited. It's basic tools to play a social game, at the moment it's such a cluster -blam!- you have to pile everyone into your friends list or mess around on the forums, not jump on see who's online and ask " need a team for.... who wants in?" then send out invites. Also [b]let us talk[/b], let us sing too.
