Tweaks are needed in the Crucible, desperately

UPDATED - Make sure you read the whole thing, as I've gotten a feel for how you guys feel about some of this, but I'm interested to hear what you think about the rest. I want to preface this by saying that I am someone who is absolutely loving the time I’m having with Destiny, so take this as suggestions by someone who wants to see the game reach its full potential, rather than vitriol spewed by a someone who couldn’t care less about the game. To be blunt, the Crucible is garbage the way it is balanced at the moment, and it’s due to just a few major issues, unfortunately. Players are running around completely ignoring their primary weapons, opting instead to use nothing but their specials, whether they’re using only their Fusion Rifle, or camping corners with a shotgun. Supers completely tip the balance of a firefight in an instant, with no real way to counter it. To keep this brief, I’m going to jump straight into the tweaks that I believe should be made to the Crucible to make it reach its full potential. Note that this tweaks would only affect the PVP section of the game. - EDIT: I originally suggested that it be apparent when someone has their super. Apparently the enemy's username flashes yellow when they have their super. I didn't notice this prior, so consider this a moot point. - To prevent it from being a panic button, and allowing good players to react quickly enough to stop it from happening, there should be no boost to defense when you use your super, with the exception of the Sunsinger, and to a lesser extent, the two Hunter subclasses. - Speaking of the Bladedancer, its super is blatantly overpowered. Reducing its damage to require two, maybe three slashes while retaining a boost to defense would allow it to remain powerful without being ridiculous. EDIT: There seems to be opposition to reducing its damage, though I still feel it's overpowered. Does anyone have some other suggestions for reducing its OP status without making it useless? - The Defender’s super should have its buffs within the shield reduced so it’s possible to take out the people inside without a super. - Scout Rifles need a slight boost to damage, and Pulse Rifles either need a slight boost to damage, or a reduction in time between bursts to keep them competitive with Auto Rifles and Handcannons - this is one of the two updates that I think absolutely NEED to happen. - Special ammo should be treated the same way as Heavy ammo; that is to say, you don’t spawn with it at all, and you lose it when you die. Naturally, it would spawn more frequently than the Heavy ammo does, though it should respawn less frequently than it does now. This is the other update that I feel HAS to happen. And that’s honestly it. There really are just a few key problems preventing the Crucible from being as good as it could be, and I really hope they get addressed, because I really, REALLY want to like it. As an addendum, I didn’t mention anything regarding the vehicles because I just straight up don’t like the larger maps in the game, and my personal bias against them would prevent me from balancing them properly. If you guys think something needs to be done about them, feel free to comment suggestions. UPDATE: So it seems most of the opposition is against the class rebalancing, which I can understand (and is actually the what I consider to be the least necessary tweaks). That being said, what are your thoughts on the weapon and ammo rebalancing I proposed? I personally feel that's where most of the issues in PVP stem.
