Legendary Engrams= What A Joke
I currently have a level 25 hunter on destiny and as much as I enjoy the game, there is just one aspect of it that is driving me insane. I've gotten over 6 Legendary Engrams since I started playing and yet I've never once received a piece of Legendary gear from one. Every single Legendary Engram I have opened has given me a Rare (Blue) piece of gear that is sometimes even as low as level 16... How frustrating is it that you go straight from being ecstatic about FINALLY getting a Legendary item to immediately being shot down with a terrible piece of gear. The whole concept doesn't even make sense to me. Why do Legendary Engrams even have a chance of being uncommon (green) or rare (blue) items? Legendary gear is hard enough to get as it is, we don't need more false hope. I don't even like getting "Legendary" Engrams anymore, its just annoying and a big let down. If you are just going to give me a Rare piece of gear anyways then don't get my hopes up for something better.
To clarify.... I am not concerned with how many Legendary items I have, my concern lies in the way that the engram system is set up.

If people complain about being stuck on the same level they should change the way they play. You need to see engrams as an extra/bonus. If you want to level up/get better gear then you need to earn marks and reputation. Thats why there are vendors in the tower! I do agree with the engram system. Why give us legendary engrams if it can be a green or a blue item aswell. The way it is now just make it no colour at all. It saves people a lot of frustration (myself included). Im level 25 now and got 5 legendary engrams (4 from the cryptarc because i leveled up) these 4 where all blue. The fifth one i got yesterday during a strike and it gave me the legendary autorifle vanquisher VIII. I was very lucky because I also use autorifle as my main weapon. So this bonus saved me 150 marks. i the meantime saving up the marks and buy items from vendor when i have enough of them. Also, i get more engrams when doing patrol then when i do high level strike. The overall lootsystem feels way too random for me.
