Dear Bungie: fix your crappy game
So Bungie likes to give the best loot to boosters and cheaters and my ONE AND ONLY legendary engram gave me ammo and currency.
I just slayed in a game (and carried my whole team) with 25 kills AND THE GUY BELOW WITH 14 KILLS AND 10 DEATHS GETS A -blam!-ING EXOTIC SNIPER!
-blam!- you Bungie, sort your -blam!-ing game out!
Thanks for betraying all your old fans and making us pay to finish the game (similar to CoD with all their crap dlc)

I get your frustration, PVP like I've been on destiny enough hours rougly 250 now and I just got my first exotic from the game (i bought a couple of pieces alrdy, but no drops). I`ll make it even better.. when I go crucible i usually come in top 3 and lets say half of the time i hit top 3 in im first. I have never had the best loot after a match coming in first, but the ocassional time i got a low score or just went for kills in controle other then the actual objective, i actually got legendary loot (which almost never dropped on my account on pvp). Out of lets say my 50-60 hours on pvp i still haven't got 1 exotic drop and only 3 legendaries. RAID But the thing i hate the most is the fact that i did the raid 3 (front to back) times and although i`m on full upgrades on my current gear which is 3x legendary (non raid gair, 1 queens mission item) and 1 exotic (chest piece) the only drop worth mentioning i got was preadyth's revenge (legendary sniper) a titan bond (got that twice) and chatterwhite (shader, got that twice aswell) everything else's been energy and shards. The fact is I`ve been on point on the raid every time around and the guy that's not paying attention and came in with the lowest gear the first 2 raids almost got his entire raid gear the first time around. His tally after 3 raids: 3 legendary guns, 1 exotic, full raid gear and some other class gear). The supposive solution is being the first to open the lootboxes. I've been the first to open 4-5 chests and got bonds and ascendent material, the gun I actually got after randomly taking it from the chest like I regulary did. ACCOUNT RELATED? Another aspect i`ve noticed with a buddy of mine, with who i've played both PVE (missions/strikes/raid/farming) and PVP (Crucible/IB) is that he always 1) gets more drops and 2) his drops are generally of a better grade then mine, only very rarely do i get a drop which is better then his after a mission or during farming. I get greens, het gets blues ,I get blues he at least gets blues, but often enough I`ve seen em getting legendaries. IN CONCLUSION So yeah the loot system is *ahum* random and for the most part the reason i initially got stuck on 24 (transition rare gear to legendary) for about a week and a half. Now I`ve been stuck on 29 (transition legendary to legendary raid gear) for over 2 weeks, because I just haven't gotten the drops out of the raid. So thanks Bungie for your random loot system, which is so random it randomly always skips me in the rewards department. Atleast let me know how i can improve my chances..

2 RepliesThat's a total crock, I literally farmed nexus all day yesterday and despite ammassing millions of greens heaps of blues and 4 legendary engrams, I walked away with only one new legendary gun... In 24 hours!! I've been trying any and all ways I hear of to squeeze an easy way of getting loot out of destiny (within the design of the game of course) for like 60+ hours and it simply seems impossible. It's completely and entirely luck based. The second gamble that your engrams may not even come out as good as they say are, the fact you may or may not even get an engram of any colour at all after a match adds a third gambe which exponentially multiplies the odds you won't walk away with decent loot ever. Just realise this loot system is designed to play at poker machine level odds, the investment to reward ratio is completely misleading on purpose. in saying that it's all aimed at keeping us doing missions to chase that phat vendor loot rather than bending rules I suppose.

Less QQ more pew pew Or...explore more of the game maybe you'll realize there are other ways to obtain legendary loot other then a random piece of aloof from a random loot system.

1 ReplyCrappy game? Have you never played Battlefield 4 before? They're just now getting to a "stable" and consistent state, so Destiny is amazing compared to that. Sure, Destiny's PvP is a bit laggy, but the loot is random. If you want the loot, play for a few games. Statistically, you'll get [i]something[/i].

All those boosters and cheaters you're complaining about are just like you. Only instead of getting angry and posting on the forum about how the game isn't fair, and I "needz more lootz" the went ahead and started grinding for their gear. You know, how the game was intended.

I wouldn't worry too much about the RNG. I myself am just planning on buying Legendary gear from the Vanguard once I get my rep up and I already got my Exotic from Xur yesterday, Sunbreaker Gauntlets. Next I'll save for my Exotic Weapon next week or the week after. Gear problems solved = )

13 RepliesLook I love this game, but after Bungie lied about it ("Everything you can see, you can explore" is the best example) sold out to Sony and turned their backs on their original fans who made them a success, gave all the best stuff to the Playstation (nearly a month beta, xbox got 2 days) it's pretty difficult to like anything Bungie related now, they need to fix this game and show some care for xbox versions as well. Story's great, badass space wizard, love it!

It's RNG. I've had plenty of games where I sucked completely and brought up the bottom of the leaderboard and not once did I get an item. I'd be happier if they would devote their time fixing the really annoying disconnect issues.
