So this has just tipped me over the edge, This may very well be both my first and final post in the bungie support as I have been diligently trying to earn enough gear so that I can get into a raid group and try out the new raid, I am level 24, almost 25 on my warlock. I have had several legendary engrams drop, all except one has been turned into a blue item or into a strange coin. Now that has pissed me off a fair bit, but i thought that I could work around that, chance of the draw etc. The final piece that has really just made me scream at my monitor is that I got 3 legendary engrams as a reward for getting my Cryptarch reputation up to level 6. By that alone you should be able to grasp that I have been going through enough strikes and bounties in order to gather that many items to enable him to level up that much in the first place. So now I go and get the engrams turned into items and this is what has happened (LINK BELOW) [url]http://imgur.com/gallery/Nao97[/url] You can imagine my extreme disappointment and also my desire to wait until their office hours (4am my time roughly) just so that I can scream at them down the phone and tell them that this crap is broken...*sigh*...however, instead I will be asking if this is genuinely a part of the game that Bungie has put in there to make rare items even more valuable? If so I cannot help but lose complete interest in this game. The grind is not a hill, it is not a mound, once you hit level 20 or finish the storyline there is nothing to do BUT grind through the same strikes, bounties and daily's until your fingers fall. I apologise for the extended post, but words cannot express the level of disappointment that I currently have with this game now. It started off so good, but as soon as the story finished there was nothing, the PVP sucks as well, mainly because the only weapons of use are shotguns, unless you are a hunter or titan in which case you just one shot everything with you super which seems to be up every minute or two. Having said that, no doubt I will get told to stfu and quit whining, so I will. I will be returning my copy of destiny. Unless something is done to make the effort-vs-reward system in this game balanced you will get more and more people reaching the breaking point similar to my own experience. You had my complete attention, until I hit level 20 and there was nowhere to go except the exact same places that I have already been....over and over and over and over and over....... P.S. - I would be happy to talk to a support representative if they could help to resolve this issue, and I would be happy to give any help I could in return. ****EDIT**** I am going to add that after doing further reading and having time to calm down, I will continue to play now that I have a better understanding of the drop mechanics and the way that is linked to the mob spawns. So thanks for the tips and constructive comments all, no rage quit here now :) And lastly, for bungie, Hopefully you can see through the gamer rage and be able to define the legitimate issues from all of this. The game is great, I will have to work on the PVP side of things still, but in general I love the game, enough that I will hang in there and wait for the next instalment of storyline.
