Slight gripes with the game so far.. am I alone here?

Really some of my dislikes have to deal with slight game balance issues in the classes, mostly the warlock being weaksauce and having lackluster abilities in the current subclasses in comparison with the titan and the hunter, you will see alot of hunters out there.. why? because their class has the most useful abilities available to them. What is the point in having the Tank/ Mage / DPS Classes when they aren't really fitting into it? The Titan is not very tanky.. I find his shield super to be annoying and only helpful if you use it to give shields to allies who pass through it. I have actually killed myself with a rocket before because my ally put this super up right as I was shooting a large enemy.. it isn't very helpful.. how about letting us shoot out of it but enemies not shooting in and having it last a little shorter? Why not give him some kind of badass mode where he takes almost no damage? or he gets a secondary shield or something? All in all he deals out a shit ton more damage than the Warlock Class.. his melee abilities give him a 1 hit dashing kill.. cmon.. it should deal the same damage but give him a shield boost or something WHILE dashing so he doesn't die to the one hit from hunters and his grenades should do something tanky.. All his abilities should be able to make him and his allies tanker or boost their damage while lowering the tank factor.. cmon! The Warlock isn't very.. magelike.. having mediocre sets of abilities that seem to try and reach some kind of "balance" between Titan and Hunter I am confused as to why he gets totally cut out of the game.. this is my first pick for class and I have to say.. I am not happy with it. While the super that he has is pretty cool.. I find it to be lacking sometimes when put with certain combinations.. if I do not use the abilities to make the super larger with longer duration AND the super that causes a large area DOT it just seems like a total waste to me, I have tried the others and they NEVER do as well.. I realize all the stats you get are supposed to make your abilities better and useable more often.. is that why it sucks so much until I max out? The tracking and splitting and the "spear" nova bombs just seem like a waste of time to me, maybe make those options also have a lower cooldown to make them viable and on par with the giant AoE DOT super? Now the other abilities aren't much to talk about.. a melee attack that can give you cooldown to your nades or "steal life" since this is the ONLY class that doesn't have a 1 hit melee kill who thought it would be a good idea to steal life with it? If it is supposed to heal you AFTER YOU GET HIT WITH A 1 HIT KILL.. it doesn't work ladies and gentlemen.. the logic here is all backwards.. while it can be useful in PvE it is totally useless in PvP when both of the other classes have a 1 hit melee kill.. now lets talk about grenades.. the initial grenade skill is great .. again.. a large DoT effect grenade is cool.. the others.. not so much.. a bunch of crap laying around that someone has to run into just doesn't do as well.. also the seekers are very.. crap in comparison to lets say the annoying hunter grenades that kill your face off if you get close which you also CANNOT tell if they are allied or not! Now I realize all of the gear you get and all your stats are for cooldowns on these abilities you get.. and yet here I am spamming away at my melee attack and my grenades.. which just don't seem to come up that often.. this class seriously needs a rework which I doubt will happen.. and that makes me sad.. While its sunsinger subclass has some interesting little quirks it also doesn't feel like its worth the effort I would put into it, while it is neat to hover in the air.. I just.. nah.. The Hunter.. the most overpowered class in the game. . dealing out death with single hits either at range or in close combat with seemingly on par tankyness of any Titan and the cooldown capabilities that far exceed any Warlock.. well bungie you did it.. you made the most op class ever.. congrats.. flying around with a kill cannon, trip mines or seeking nets of death.. or even disappearing and dashing around the map dealing out instant kills with blades of doom.. you will see the hunters in mass with their trusty ranged melee attacks at the ready to strike you down if you stray too far from their giant death array.. seriously.. This class WOULD be okay.. if the other classes weren't so shitty.. the advantages here are notable in all the current subclasses I just can't name a single reason for anyone to play any other class other than you get tired of totally annihilating everything. Onto the Weapons... weapons.. lets talk about the weapon variety.. once you hit your legendary gear all the weapons deal about the exact same damage, while the range/reload/recoil and all those stats are supposed to balance things out.. it REALLY doesn't feel like it.. it seems like everyone is leaning on Auto rifles and when you can just spam out a ton of shots that deal the same damage as the other weapons.. why would you choose anything else that gives you much slower shots dealing the same damage output? Did I test this out? Yes. Did I do this also in PvP? Yes. My results.. it seems like while you can deal 2 hit kills with a hand cannon at range or a scout rifle in 4 someone can kill you even faster with an autorifle taking approx 1.6 seconds to kill you.. While I have managed to come out ontop several times in pvp often with a higher K/D than anyone in the game there are times when someone will simply mow everyone down with an autorifle and then it becomes an all out autorifle battle.. even when heavy ammo drops if you dont nail someone with a rocket its goodbye because you are being shot to hell by an autorifle.. yes. . I said autorifle alot.... And if you will notice I didn't talk about the secondary weapons or the heavy weapons.. know why? they are just right... yes.. thats right.. they are just right. Also the XP system was a bit weird to me.. but I see why they did it and I have grown accustomed to it, I do still chuckle when a band of level 2 can take down someone over 20.. but as I said I can see why it is the way it is because of how subclasses level up and you can play with your friends at lower levels yadda yadda.. its just different.. but well done, you have my praise on this one actually. Now onto this weekly cap.. I can reach this cap if I played for two days in the week and once the cap is hit I cant even get some of the items from the vendors *costing 125* You can however get a single item of lower cost... PER WEEK.. this means it would take you around 6 weeks to accumulate enough crucible marks or vanguard marks for a full set of gear from either vendor unless you mix and match in which case around 4 weeks of maxing out each week.. this is absurd.. why hold everyone back like this? Is it simply to make it easier for casual players who play the game 2 days a week on even footing with players who pound away at it every day? The only reward for those pounding away however is motes of light to get those nifty awesome looking class armors and emblems.... why you do this tho? cmon And my last and final suggestion is more of an ascetic one.. all of the late game gear looks almost identical to all the other gear.. oh boy I get a bandolier that is barely noticeable on legendary gear.. that is also similar to all the other vendors legendary gear..... with exceptions to the class armor items which apparently are there for just flair.. cmon guys.. we all want to look like we are wearing something unique or amazing... not look like level 2's with access to armor shaders.. while yes the class armor items DO look nice later on.. thats all we get.. throw us a freakin bone here man..

  • Calls warlock underpowered.... meanwhile I'm being 2-peice rushed by their extended default melee range and shotguns. being panic novabombed watching them eat bullets after using sunsinger super yes, underpowed indeed.
