Old Geezers out there???
My GOD! I get creamed by these younguns!! FAST! I use a cane in my game..... HMMMM Any suggestions?

I'm 51. That's like 200 in gaming years. I get all hopped up on Centrum Silver, put on some Lawrence Welk (his hard years), and wipe noses!

Just keep playing, do not be afraid of the crucible, the more you play the better you become. I am 53 and been playing XBOX since it came on the market, I enjoy the harder levels because it is the greatest challenge and helps me become quicker as well as what works best for me, once you figure this out you will do fine.

3 RepliesI will turn 63 next month. I love it! I have been playing for the last 15 years when my young neices kicked my butt on the older systems. I was determined to not let that happen again. Fast forward to today and I have played roughly over a 1,000 or more games with usually the highest difficulty settings on them. I am mostly an RPG shooter fanatic but love the F1 and racing games as well. So long story short my friend I am an old geezer 1951 and the best way to more comfortable is just continue to play. Especially this game WOW so many other players to connect with and play by your side to help level up. I LUV IT!

No worries. You're not alone. I'm 37, so I'm getting up there. And yes, I avoid the Crucible too.

1 ReplyHang in there! My dad decided to end his 25 year gaming hiatus by buying a One and talk about a learning curve! Having said that, I'm 30 and don't care for PvP for the same reason. I'd rather be able to relax while I'm taking heads!

Run with a bunch of other old geezers might help. Teamwork is a plus on PVP.

A lot of it is knowing maps, choose your weapons wisely, what works on fallen etc.. may not work as well on people. Not sure if re-charge rates and skills are faster for higher levels in PvP, if so leveling up will make things easier. It is all the rushing around we oldies don't like, but you do get used to it. Oh yeah fire when you see them, aim after....
