Make or Break: Story expansions HAVE to be free

As the title reads, story expansion HAS to be free. We were given so little story to chew on. In comparison to the amazing storytelling abilities of Bungies past games, this one is almost laughable. Every "character" essentially says "I COULD tell you my tale, but I won't" We shouldn't have to rely on an out of game source (grimmoire) to get some damn story. Also don't even start with that "the single player wasn't meant to be a story mode". If not than what part of the game was supposed to deliver a story? The character development is not good. Plain and simple. I mean, if we players don't have a form of simple communication, than at least make the damn characters have some dialogue! All the "characters" are so damn emotionless and forgettable. With all of this in mind, the make or break point comes in. If the story was meant to be given in to us in time frames, than it NEEDS TO BE OFTEN. Most people don't buy "full" games just to not get a full game, but hey, that's Bungies plan I guess. HOWEVER, if that's true than the coming story missions absolutely have to be free. What we got was not a $60 dollar story. And if we have to keep shelling out money just for a simple story, than that is the breaking point. And you know that none of this can be denied. If you have a valid argument to why I am wrong, than please enlighten me.

Aint' happening. 1. The storytelling here is equally amazing. It just a DIFFERENT KIND of story than Halo or Oni. One that requires you to think...and that has some people balking. 2. If you didn't have the Grimoire cards, you have to had HOURS of "cut scenes" to convey the information. Cut scenes are for telling very simple stories. No the kind of massive, multi- NOVEL tale that Bungie is winding up to tell with Destiny. 3. There isn't supposed to be any "character development" Where the story is concerned. This is NOT HALO. Your Guardian is simply one soldier in an Army of Light. Fighting in a war that is FAR FAR bigger than he is. The STORY is the events that are going on around him (or her). Not his or her "personality" YOU supply the "personality" with your own...and your play style. 4. This game is organized like an MMO-RPG. Not a Halo or CoD "installment". The game is continuously updatable. So Bungie will be able to add lots of new events within the play space created by this intial release...and they started rolling out those events this past weekend. Those are clearly going to be "given away" to anyone who bought the game. But the EXPANSION of the play space---and the next big surge forward in the story-----(like an MMO) is going to be paid for. This game was designed to expand in a MODULAR fashion...and the story to slowly unfold over many years. To expect Bungie to "give away" these things, is SIMPLY NOT REASONABLE. Relax---and accept this MMO-like vision----and you are in for a treat. Complain and demand to ahve things on YOUR terms....and you're going to be unhappy...and you won't get anywhere witht he complaints. Because there are too many people out there like ME----who is a long-time RPG fan---who are perfectly at-home with what Bungie is doing here...and are loving every minute o fit.
