So the tower is called the social hub right? So why is there no social aspect if it? It doesn't feel alive! I mean come on it's the last city on earth lets see this thing thriving with life and other great things! First off the main thing missing is a chat box! Simply adding a chat box would make the tower better but make some cool shortcuts like if you click "@" then all the player names in the tower pop up so you can say something directly to them. Ok now another thing lets have a trading feature. You simply walk up to someone click R3 (Ps4) to interact with the play and click trade. A little message pops up saying this play would like to trade with you accept or decline (to stop people spamming you can put an option trade only with friends or don't let this person send trade requests option if they spam you) this then in turn opens the other players inventory and they can chose to take some extra armor weapons material or consumables when they decide what they want you have to option to demand what you want in return such as glimmer crucible marks vanguard marks another weapon or piece of armor a color shader, spirit blooms and other materials. Another thing why not add mini games for example hide and seek. One player simply pops their ghost up and clicks start hide and seek game. The players in the tower recieve a message saying so and so wants to start a H&S game accept or decline. Once the game starts you go into first person mode and all the HUD elements are gone and whoevers it has to mele the other people to tag them. There could be many more types of mini games comment below for your ideas. Now for my last couple of ideas, holiday themed decorations in the tower. I'm not sure if bungie have thought of this already but it would be cool to see something new instead of the same old boring tower. Another thing competitions you challenge someone to a competition and go into a battle room and whoever kills the most enemies in 3 minutes wins and the players put something up for wager. If the other player doesn't like what his opponent put for wager he can decline. My final idea is a gun test range. To often already I've bought guns thinking they'd be amazing but aren't. Before simply purchasing a weapon you can click a button to "test weapon in Arena" you go to the battle arena (the same you would go to for wagers) and test how the gun is! How cool would all this be? If you have ideas or improvements feel free to comment and let's hope bungie sees this and adds it all how cool would it be!?
