my two cents!

After a week of playing Destiny here are my two cents. While I agree that the story felt a bit rushed, we must understand that this is the first iteration of this game and with expansions coming in a few months I'm sure the story will expand on the storyline of other characters in game. I have a blast playing with friends and the difficulty is just right. I love challenges, and destiny offers that option. Here are my suggestion on a few things that I believe need some attention. 1. Fire team needs to be bigger, specially for patrols. 6 for patrols and 4-6 on strikes with scalable difficulty after the 3rd person. 2. Silken codex, house banners, etc... Should be more visible. A rectangle like mission related loot would be nice. That little white transparent triangle is not visible in all terrains. 3. Strike maps should be unique. Instead of being part of the map, they should have their own location that is viewable only during the strike. This should prevent the "I've run past this while exploring / missioning" scenario. 4. The "social" situation of the game feeling empty might be due to the instancing. So why not have a general chat, with the option to turn off because most mmo players know how it can get. As far as population goes, I don't mind because it's less people in the farming spots. 5. Can we please have an option to skip cut scenes. All that being said, I'm enjoying the game and so are the rest of the people I know. Destiny is a work in progress, and while there was hype (kudos to the marketing team), realistic expectations should've been kept in check by every adult that knows that everything that is promised during a show, is not going to show up on launch. Like I said in the beginning, this is the first iteration of this game so give it time to develop.
