Telenet Belgium blocking the following (crucial?) ports !
Apparently Telenet is blocking ports:
12345 to 12346
31337 to 31339
31785 to 31792
Could this relate to the centipede issue?
If so, any workaround possible?

yes there is. But your console needs to be connected directly at the modem for this solution: login at "my telenet". go to section "Mijn internet", and select "draadloze instellingen". Go to "Geavanceerd". In the tab "netwerk" search for the ip of your console, and enter that ip as NAT in the tab port forwarding If you cant connect your console directly to the telenet modem enter the ip of your router as NAT. But be warned that by doing this the firewall of telenet will be bypassed so beef up the security of your router. Happy hunting guardian

2 RepliesI called telenet this week and they weren't able to fix anything cause there were no problems but they put me on a list. Where they will contact me if they find a answer to this problem but they also told me the problem will highly be at bungie doorstep.

same problem here. getting centipede all the time. cant even play for 2 min. and i'm not that great with messing around with my modem like port forwarding. never had problems before with any game. i have Telenet 120 CBN modem.

3 Replies12345,12346; 31337 - 31339; 27374; 1243; 31785 - 31792; 135; 137 - 139; 445; 4444; 1847; 1900; 3127 And also 0 - 1023 and 1080. These are the ports they block, I got it straight from their site. I've been getting error codes since day one, but they seem to dwindled down to only Centipede and the occasional Newt. It's impossible to complete missions. The weird thing is that at night I can sometimes play for an hour before I get disconnected. Can we possibly get any reply from Bungie stating that they acknowledge the problem? This isn't the first time the problems with Telenet are mentioned, but they're only looking for university fixes.

6 RepliesWhere did you get this information? Telenet does not actively block ports above port number 1024. It is however possible you have to DMZ your PS4 or use port forwarding. Enableing UPnP might also help. You can configure all this through mijn.telenet.be

No problems here! A disconnect now and then but nothing major just yet. :)

1 ReplyAlso have Telenet and been having from the start numerous errors (leopard and beaver mostly) and at times centipede. Total BS!! Bungie has failed so hard.

1 ReplyEdited by Espio0: 9/15/2014 6:03:19 PMalso have telenet, no connection issues at my end, thank god, however a colleague of mine at work has tons of issues and he has telenet. *edit* telenet blocks those ports because according to them, people can use those easily to do "inapropriate" actions (have needed the same ports for other games, that was their explanation on the site)
