Hi guys,
thought I'd start a thread so people can help others get the most out of Destiny! Please add to this to help others improve their game.
Just found this link while browsing the Interweb:
http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2014/09/10/destiny-dead-ghosts-locations-guide.htm
Contains links for completists in the clan - has links for Youtube videos showing all of the locations for all the dead ghosts and what planetoid they are on.
Also - when fighting the Devil Walker (either in the Devil's lair Strike mission on Earth or in the Dynamic Event on the Moon) - GO FOR THE LEGS. They're it's weakpoint!!

Edited by Dante_Cubit: 9/25/2014 9:10:38 PMGreat video on how the different 'elemental' damage - Void, Arc and Solar, work, and HOW to use them in the game.

As the Loot Cave has apparently been patched, this may be a good alternative to engram/loot farming. If anyone tries any of these out, please post comments as to how effective they were!

Good (quite funny) video on what could be a quite lucrative loot chest run that can be done in a few minutes (^_^)

Great exploit at the moment - follow the instructions on the video to farm some easy blue/green drops!! Get in there before Bungie patch it!!!

a great guide for introducing players to the mechanics of Faction Rep grinding, and the differences in gear between the Future War Cult, New Monarchs and Dead Orbit gear sets. Read it and it'll help you decide which faction suits your playing style.

A good, basic guide to understanding how the Crucible works for new players.

Just discovered netting all the gold chests on Earth nets you a unique mount/ride which is a fair bit quicker than the Sparrow, plus you don't have to spend that hard-earned Glimmer on it!

Using Bounties to Quickly Rank Up Weapons or Armor Turning in bounties gives a huge XP reward that not only helps you level up, but will also rank up your weapons almost instantly every time. Simply equip the gear you want to rank up, then turn in completed bounties to get the instant infusion of XP added to your character level progression, and to any gear. XP is shared between gear and progression, with gear usually requiring far less XP to rank up. Even if you don’t use rare gear in combat, equip them before turning in bounties. Crucible bounties are the best for this, but easier patrol bounties also work well. Obviously, bringing weapons on missions and PVP is the basic way to rank up, but if you’ve got extra gear you don’t like using in PVP or just want to instantly upgrade without grinding it out, this is the best way to do it. Just make sure the gear you want to rank up is equipped on your character. Only equipped gear gets the XP reward when turning in bounties.
