I love this game, I love it! I do wish some more of the story had made its way into gameplay, but this is a learning curve for Bungie also. Say what you want about the previous Halo games, none were a story based game like this. This game has the potential to be Mass Effect/Borderlands/&Halo combined on steroids and is so far delivering well, in my opinion of course. The problem I see, again in my opinion, is that gamers today are freaking spoiled! You have spent time playing WoW, and other similar games, that confused you with mindless grinding and called that story and people bought into that crap. THIS IS NOT WoW, or any other previous game for that matter. This is a game that both offers and encourages you to think for yourself and create your own experience. The story is not linear taking your hand and leading you along. Instead, you have to and are encouraged to play the game the way you enjoy. If you are into the mindless drone of PVP to say your hand-eye coordination and finger reflexes are better than mine and everyone else's, then by all means PVP all day. If you enjoy finding every chest, ghost, crack in the buildings to fall into (there is 1 on Venus and 2 in the Buried City that I can attest to and had to go to orbit to get out of) and defeat every boss several times until you have it down to a science, then PVE baby! My point is this. Destiny is NOT like any game that you've played before. Whine about how it's grinding like all MMO's, but it's not. Tell me I'm wrong and this is just a Halo port, no it is NOT. Destiny is a wonderful new creation with amazing play areas crafted beautifully that offer endless hours of exploration and many ways to enjoy your playing time. That being said, if you really dislike the game so much, then take it back to GameStop (sorry digital downloaders) and get the $40 trade in for the Borderlands PreSequel, the next Bore of Doodie Incarnation, or Dragon Age: Inquisition. You're going to be on new forums posting new threads about how bad those games suck too, because you're so awesome. If you're so damn awesome; shut up your whining, create the perfect game that apparently only you can create, and stop boring and bothering those of us that do enjoy this game and want to use these forums to find others like us to work on the game together. Got that off my chest. Now tell me how wrong I am and how stupid. This old Marine ain't afraid. If you don't like the game, then stop trolling our DoD forums and leave already!
