It's been five years...

...since I created this account and joined the 7th column. It's been five fun years with this community! My life has changed a lot during the past five years, strangers became new friends, old friends became nothing but memories and I went from being the sad kid in class to being the one who made people laugh. 4 years ago I was almost constantly sad and/or angry. I had trouble making friends at school since the people who bullied me had more influence on my classmates than I did, I had good grades but I had no one to hang out with after school, this is why I started playing video-games as much as I did. Halo 3 helped me forget about my current situation in school, online I could be myself without worrying that someone would spread a rumor about me or that someone would take my shoes and hide them somewhere. It was in on xbox Live that I had my friends, we played and laughed together, we raged at the enemy team together and I could play custom games for hours with people who I had met in matchmaking just a few minutes ago! Halo 3 helped me out of my sadness, that I am very thankful for. I've now lost contact with almost all of the people who I played Halo 3 with, but the memories remain. I miss the community events which were held in Halo 3 (V-Day doubles, Bungie vs The World, Haiti, etc) and I hope that Bungie will arrange similar things in Destiny. But enough of the games., I want to thank the The Flood for being whatever it is you/we are. Our home may be evacuated but we shall never die! And I would like to thank those of you who have stayed here during the dark days and kept this community alive. TL;DR: Thank you Bungie! Thank you 7th Column! Thank you The Flood! You've helped me through some of the rough parts in my life and you are awesome! Thank you for 5 great years! I will stay here until the end and I hope you will too. Be Brave!
Sorry for any weird grammar and this probably counts as a blog post but I felt like I needed to get it of my chest.
