I don't think the radar should always let you know where people are. I'm looking at the radar more than the gameplay.

Yes! Add a game mode w/o the radar!
-
This is ridiculous to consider getting rid of
-
Just... No
-
I do agree with this. It's a little op.
-
Just be hunter and go indivisible. You dnt show up on minimap
-
Remember the radar in Halo? I dont remember anyone complaining about that and it was 3x more accurate than destinys

Dear god no. This tracker is the most balanced radar I've ever seen
-
Its the future where we know where you live

Edited by Lazerith420: 9/15/2014 7:02:45 PMI went 30-03, because of the radar, I like to camp and now I know when people are coming for me. When red shows I just move to a different spot. The only time I get killed is when they group up to get me and I just so happen to be aiming at someone. The radar makes PvP too easy for me, my sniper regenerates ammo so some matches I don't even need to move. Some say it helps stop camping because you know where people are, I would say it helps camping because I know when people are near. It would be better for everyone if the radar was gone, except noobs. I'm not really complaining for myself, I'm complaining for the people I keep killing this way.

Radar is fine. If anything they should remove enemy players from the radar. Teammates would still be there so if a teammate dies you know where.
-
I think that the radar should stay but be modified. I like the Halo radar that pings every 2 seconds or so and shows a dot on the map for enemies. The fact that the radar is constantly lit up within range of an enemy eliminates any surprise. You can just walk right to them.
-
Honestly, getting rid of radar would just encourage people to camp even more.
-
That's COD talking. Radar is fine. Don't ruin our game.
-
Why, so people can camp harder than they already do? I don think so
-
At least dumb the range, down, it shows people 25,meters away
-
Its so funny when i know someone is camping a room and i throw my 3rd warlock nade and watch the little purple thing go to the corner his is camping in. Then i precede to run in and 1shot his head with my scout rifle.

Radar in PvP promotes camping to no end. Dropping the radar from PvP will also separate the skilled players from the radar camper scrubs. Players will have to react on the fly then instead of just sitting in a corner watching radar for people coming by.

Get rid of insignificant posts trying to ruin this game.

Out of all the things that may need tweaking in this game this is one complaint I simply do not understand. Absolutely everyone has the radar, why would you complain about it? It's not like you can't see the exact same thing as your opponent. You just need to learn how to read it better, learn to GLANCE AT IT and stop staring at it, know when you are outgunned or surrounded so you can run away, and work with your team. The radar in this game is refreshing since literally it is impossible to stay 100 percent hidden (just remember that crouching goes a long way!) . It keeps the game flowing and makes it faster. Without radar people would "camp" even harder than they do now.... And you cant TRULY camp in this game because of *drum roll* THE RADAR!! *APPLAUSE*
-
I think making the radar have a cool down/reload rate. So you know someones general area but you cant just fuse rifle camp/shotgun camp.

Edited by Klavmanian: 9/16/2014 8:42:12 PMInstead of suggesting that it be removed. How about suggesting additional options/modes that just simply don't have it enabled? Please try to find ways to improve the quality and quantity of options. edit: The radar is fine.

Radar helps *incredibly fast voice* Shotgun campers, Fusion rifle campers, Fusion rifle users in general, Titans who shoulder check, Rocket launcher camper, People who camp on point and last but not least Warlocks that camp with regen buff and shotgun. Basically I agree with this :D
-
I'm too use to hardcore modes. I can't stand radars either

In a FPS online multiplayer you should be looking at the mini map a lot. The Destiny radar system in PvP is fine.
