Sometimes I wanna listen to the frigging awesome music without it being covered up by gunfire and explosions.
Nope, can't do that. Fixed volume.
Sometimes people's voices are drowned out by the music and the gunfire and the explosions.
Tough luck, fixed volume.
But why? Seriously. It's practically a core setting and it would make life so much easier.
bungie pls
Edit: Just now remembering that this post will probably never be seen or considered by Bungie.
Feels like I'm metaphorically pissing in the proverbial wind
-
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Bungie please!!!!!!
-
I completely agree
-
Edited by chromium: 9/15/2014 6:39:59 PMTHIS! Please. Pretty please? I would like to 'become legend' as you've suggested Bungie, but I can't because I can't hear anything above the din of constant explosions AND INCESSANT SCREAMING IN-GAME EVEN FROM SOME PROJECTILES (lol, wtf!). It would also be nice to be able to tell the difference between when my mate is urgently requesting immediate assistance or if he's just ordered Indian take-out.
-
Totally agree, I have to use a headset with my Xbox and I can't adjust the sound from my Xbox Party and the game.
-
Agreed, sometimes I find the volume of game distracting. I would like to be able to turn it down so I can talk to my fire team without being drowned out by game noise.
-
I would love this option as well
-
Ive wanted some dam audio settings since day one, its kind of ridiculous that it isnt there. I cant remember the last game ive played with no audio settings.
-
Yes please add volume controls. The main reason is because my turtle beach headset is messed up where the game volume knob turns voice volume up also and to hear my friends I have to turn up game volume as well and it makes me friggin deaf because the music and gun fire. I need to be able to lower volume for in game so I can hear my friends and not go deaf
-
I agree.
-
I counldnt agree more. The point of the game is to communicate with your fireteam. How can you do that if the music drowning my fellow comrades cries fpr help.
-
Agree, sometimes i just cant hear them when im shooting or whatever. Make an option to turn down and off Music volume and the other volume whatever its called. So u can chose to just hear your comrads if that is what u want.
-
Seriously, id be happy if i could just turn off the Music. Not asking a lot.......
-
Yes, bungie let us turn off the music!!!
-
I wish I could turn the music off its great music but at times when its looping the same blaring tune over and over and were trying to concentrate being able to turn the music off would be nice
-
I don't see the point of the feedback forum when no dev seems to read or post in it.
-
I agree, would be nice since this is a basic feature in all games.
-
Bump, sort the most basic of any game options
-
My body is ready... For some damn volume controls!!! Such a simple thing, as mysterious as the half story.
-
I can't hear a thing any of my friends are saying while I'm playing this game! It's so frustrating!
-
Been saying this since Beta. Totally agree. That said, my headset fixes this. But I spent way too much money on a headset so it would fix this.....
-
This is really necessary. Can't hear anybody half the time, and the other half I have to mute people who come through obnoxiously loud.
-
Its such a simple, basic function why is it not there? Let us play and listen to the game how we want to.
-
Yes! Let people turn off the super intense music that plays for 30min plus. Give the option to turn OFF the music!
-
Agreed, Please add the option to manually adjust BGM, Sound effect, Voice and Chat volume level. It is really hard to communicate with fireteam with all the overpowering level of explosions and Repetitive music. Oh, and an option to skip previously watched cutscenes. Seriously.... it gets annoying after 20+ times.

Playing a story mission is like watching Bob Ross create one of his paintings. There are neat things, there are cool things, and sometimes there are surprising things. Then you get to the boss fight and the music cranks way up and ruins it all. It's like Bob Ross nearly finishes the painting, then dips his bare a$$ in the paint and smears it all over his happy little trees and happy little clouds. Please Bungie, for the love of Bob Ross, give us volume control!!!
-
I can't use my headset while chatting with friends the game volume just makes it impossible to properly hear anyone talking whole game volume blasts your ear holes.
