Okay, I'm reading the Grimmoire on thbe site an d there is a LOT of interesting Lore in this game. Thing IS, unless people go to this site, people will never read it.
Thus I suggest a In Game grimoire.

Good point and unless people try to unlock the cards they still won't be able to see the story on the cards
-
I agree 100% Even a computer terminal on the Tower between matches to have a quick read while team members do what they need to do.

-
Bump I concur

Edited by Tubbybubz: 9/20/2014 9:57:30 PMI agree.....I found myself all wound up in the Grimore cards ......this is where all the story is! They need to have a side mission for every card you earn.

How I see it is that it's not as much as we want to be lazy about it but the main point is that it takes you out of the experience of Destiny. Just a person or terminal on the tower would fix it, I don't think forcing you to go to the web site if you don't want to is not fair for some people.

Edited by CheckX: 9/21/2014 1:01:22 AMFind someone who is playing this game and doesn't have a computer, tablet or smartphone... everyone has access to this.. next! This also gets people so sign up a bungie account and find and join groups/clans among many other things.

There should be a library in the Tower ! Since the cryptarcs are always lecturing so much about ther collected knowledge .
-
How about a bonfire of girmoire and an actual story if I wanted to read I'd by a book
-
Yes pls maybe in the tower
-
Yes please!
-
It would make it a lot easier
-
I agree too much this needs to happen
-
Agreed!

I don't mind that it's not in the game, but I can understand your point. I prefer to use the companion app to review my grimoire cards.

This needs to be in game.

Destiny tells you, every time you make progress on a Grimoire route, to check out Bungie.net to check out the Grimoire. If you have internet, you're playing Destiny. If you're playing Destiny, you're making Grimoire progress. If you're making progress, you're getting tons of notifications to check out Bungie.net. If you check out Bungie.net, you have internet. I don't see the point of tossing all of that text and picture data in-game.
-
Perhaps just a link in game that can be clicked to launch the systems browser and log you into bungie.net to access the grimiore would work.

Bumpity bump bump

This is seriously needed

Yep, don't know why it's not in the game. I don't know why a LOT of things aren't in the game. ...Like Grimoire Cards. ..Split-screen. ...Interesting A.I.... the fulfillment of promises and impressions they gave all along. You know. Things that make sense for a next gen game to include by now.
-
I´d like to have it ingame, to check for the progress of the grimoire upgades.

Edited by ectomort: 9/18/2014 3:58:51 PMa Grimoire sheet in the character screens would be great. there are times I pick up a few new cards and want to check the out; but don't feel like switching from my big screen TV to my mobile device. more lore in game is better, too. and if you want to make it awesome (you know you wanna, Bungie) some cards should have VoiceOver narration and cutscenes. you explored this technique with the side story in Halo ODST. how cool would it be to have Ghost fragments actually be mini stories?
-
Agreed

Please add this as another option in the start menu at tower or something! The lore is awesome, but I still haven't gotten around to reading most of it because it's hard to access quickly through the app and it's not in game...
