Data usage
Does the game really have to use this much data? 5.5 hours and using 1.1 gigabytes.. I can play halo3/4 or CoD:Ghost for 11 hours and only use 300mbs with chat going. World of Warcraft even less with 170mbs used. Are we constantly downloading the armor visuals? Is something not saved on the HDD that should be? Why did you code the game this way? How hard would it be to patch this up so the server aren't under this much strain and people with limited data can play more often?

1 ReplyI started another thread about this same issue before i seen your post, seeing as im lazy ill just cut and paste what i wrote... How much data does detiny require to play? Ive just realized that ive gone over my data allowance for the month (crucible went all weird and dropped me out just when i was having a better game then normal) so i checked my xbox ones bandwidth usage and it says that between 4pm and 7pm ive downloaded 1 gig. thats from about the time i got home from work and started playing. It also says that this month i have downloaded a HUGE 93 gig. I havnt been playing any other games and i dont use any of xbox's media options other than "play to" so it seems destiny is to blame, especially since i have never had this problem before.

1 ReplyThis is definitely a terrible design flaw. I love the game to death but cant play it anymore. After playing for only 4 days (maybe 4-6 hours per day) I have used over 10GBs. Limited to 15GB where I live so until this is changed (which it probably won't be) I can't play unless I spend 190 dollars in overages every month
