So I went to Gamestop on 9/8/2014 right after work. It was already filling up with eager fans ready for the midnight release, and their limited/ghost editions. I wanted to get a Ghost edition, but they were already sold out at that point. I tell the clerk I'd like to buy Destiny for the 360, the digital preorder version, and the expansion pass. I verify that this would include all the DLC codes, etc. After a minute or two, the clerk gives me my receipt and shows me the DLC codes. They tell me that the Red Sparrow DLC code INCLUDES the Vanguard Armory. I get home, wait until about 3:45 AM EST which is when the purchase went through for Destiny, and eagerly start the download. Once it's done, I enter in all my DLC codes and let it download. Not level 5 yet, so I didn't notice any Vanguard issues yet. To skip ahead, I'm level 13 now, I find that the Vanguard Quartermaster has none of the DLC items unlocked. I get in contact with Gamestop which assure me it's part of the Sparrow DLC code. I tell them it's not, and inform them that I meet the requirements to see the DLC items. They refer me to call Bungie. Bungie does not have a customer service phone number. I go to the Activision support site for DLC codes, input my Bungie ID's, and let them know my issue. It's rejected within 5 minutes due to it being a retailer issue. What do I do? Can any of my fellow Destiny players guide me in the right direction? I really need help with this, as It doesn't seem there is any other info out there for my particular case. Most of it includes reddit threads, or threads for other consoles. Tl;Dr; Purchased Destiny Xbox 360 Digital Preorder, Only comes with Red Sparrow Code, Game (MS Points) Code, Expansion (MS Points) Code, but no Vanguard even though I purchased 9/8. Gamestop refers me to Bungie. Anyone?
