Decoherant Engram Fail
Last night I was on Venus and got my first Decoherant (rare) Engram armor drop. When I went to decode it, it wouldn't let me hit the option button to go to my inventory.
I accessed my vault and then backed out, and I was able to use the option button again, but the Engram was an -exact- copy of the 8th level armor I was wearing (same stats, I'm wearing it currently I think), except it was level 12.
Was this a glitch?
TLDR - are rare engrams supposed to give you rare loot?

2 Repliesunfortunatley not, the decoherant engrams are, by nature and definition, "unclear" as to their contents, when you look at the engram in your inventory, it will state that it may yeild an uncommon, rare, legendary or other item. basically you have no way of knowing what you will get until you decode it. I have had some give me uncommons worse than what i had already and others hat gave me high level rares. I have even had strange coins and other goodies from the class engrams.
