Don't Like the Game? Read This. (In other words, I am not bashing on anything or not trying to change your opinion, just a quick read that will be worth the minute it takes you to read this)

The bottom line is this: If a person plays a game (ex. Destiny) with a negative attitude towards the game, that person will have a bad experience and not enjoy the game. The opposite is true, if that same person went into the game with a positive attitude, he or she would enjoy the game. I've seen myself do this with games before; I have ruined many games for myself simply because of a negative attitude. Just to name a few: Rift, GTA 4, Madden 12, Dota 2. I have found that if I can change my opinion on the game and give it a second shot then it appears to be much better even though the game itself hasn't changed at all. For me, I played Saints Row 2 before even buying GTA 4. Going into GTA, I was almost hoping that it wouldn't be a good game. After giving it some time off, I decided that maybe I should pick it back up and give it a second shot. Now I love the game and spent hours doing something as pointless as trying to jump a truck onto the highway from a skate park ramp. This might be the case with Destiny. For some people, the love it instantly and will not put it down. On the other hand, many people think the game is not worth their time nor money. I am speaking to this second group of people. It is entirely possible that you are going through the same thing that I went through with GTA 4. I encourage you to take some time to cool off, play some of your classics, finally finish that 10k block pixel art in Minecraft (if that's your fancy), or just do what you love. After enough time has passed, and only you can decide when enough has gone by, dust off Destiny and give it a second shot. You might find a certain feature of the game that you love and didn't notice the first time. Or maybe its as simple as that you accept Destiny for what it is and choose to enjoy the parts of the game that you do like and not even worry about feeling negative towards the parts of the game that you don't like. Simply play the game the way you want to and don't let the opinions of others change your view on the game. There will be thousands of people who agree and disagree with every opinion about the game, this means that whatever your opinion, now or 3 months in the future, it is respectable and plenty of people agree. Do not let anybody change your opinion in a way which you do not want; its your opinion and you get to dictate what it is. In conclusion, I strongly recommend that you give this game a second chance when you feel compelled to do so. While doing so, try not to anticipate but rather to participate.
