Limited Edition Content Doesn't Transfer? UPDATED and Fixed (On Xbox One)!!!!!

I purchased a copy of the Ghost Edition for 360, as well as a digital copy on 360 so I could play on Xbox One. I redeemed the content from the Ghost Edition and the Vanguard Armory and Expansion Pass were available for download on the One with no problem. I got the skins and ship and emblem on the 360 version with no problem as well. When I play the XB1 version, those skins, ship, and emblem show up in my inventory, but I can't select them. When I hover over them and view the details, it says "Purchase Required." Anyone know the deal with this? UPDATE: Tweeted Xbox Support and was basically told that we are SOL. https://mobile.twitter.com/xboxchick311/status/510266140057436160 FIXED: Those with Xbox One can search the store for Destiny. One of the search results should be "Destiny Collector's Edition Content Pack." This used to say "Unavailable," but now there's an install button. I loaded up the game after installing and my spaceship was immediately visible after selecting my character and a quick check of my inventory revealed that my ghost shells and emblems can also be used. PS4 players, I've checked the Sony store and the bookmark is up https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/addons/destiny-collector's-edition-digital-content-pack/cid=UP0002-CUSA00219_00-DESTINYCOLLECTOR?scope=sceapp&smcid=sceapp but shows that it's not available for purchase. Clicking the more info button shows that it's not available since the Digital Guardian Pre-order wasn't purchased. Hopefully that will go live for everyone soon. I'll keep checking, but if someone notices it go live before I do, please post so I can update this.

    Activision provided me with a new code for the PS4, late on 9/23. I now have my collector's edition content! (I provided pics of proof of purchase, etc etc) EDIT: Took them a little over a week I believe.

    • Hey have a problem or not :) i've got the Taken King DESTINY Digital Collector's Edition on ps3 then i moved to ps4 and so i got to pay the Destiny – The Collection Upgrade this year.. now i did also transfer my characters but i cant use shades and other things because it says it require Taken King DESTINY Digital Collector's Edition Can anyone pls help me?!

        • What does the dark below expansion say? I got a free expansion pass upgrade from my xbox 360 to xbox 1 but it's says bundle only on the dark below and house of wolves but says installed on the expansion pass

              • I bought the limited edition and have been playing for months. My game now doesn't register as limited edition anymore, but it says installed still with expansion pass. I'm scared to reinstall and lose my characters. Has anyone come across the same problem and have a fix?

                  Ok, this is what happing to me. I live in the UK and the Destiny: Ghost Edition was only available for the Xbox One in the UK so I got it for the Xbox one but I also wanted to get it on the Xbox 360 so I could play with my friends. When I went on the Xbox One I entered the codes everything worked, I had all my items on the Xbox One but when I went on the Xbox 360 version my ship was invisible, my ghost shell, sparrow and ship said I need to purchase. I went to my Xbox 360 settings, Account and the "Ghost edition items e.g. Vanguard armoury, Ghost shell, Ship and Red Sparrow (all that you can not buy unless you spend another £200 on a Ghost edition for the Xbox 360 from another country) it just says "this item is no longer available" (meaning they did not give the UK/EU Xbox Market the Downloadable Content) for all of the Destiny DLC except the compatibility pack, all the other downloadable items are available. Can anyone (really) help?

                  • I kind of got a fix. About a week ago I submitted a second ticket to Activision's code support forum. Just about 10 seconds ago they finally sent me a working code for my PS4 and all seems to be in order. Sorry it isn't a "fix" but it's something. My recommendation to any PlayStation users is to keep using that code support site until they help. Cheers Guardians.

                    • Still no fixes or help for PS3 to PS4 upgrades. I've called Activision, and there wasn't any help. I've used their code troubleshooting form twice now and it's been six days and I still have not heard anything. I called Sony and they directed me to call Activision. I used Sony's online chat help and Architects bless the guy trying to help me but all he could do was tell me to reset the licenses and that isn't fixing the Collector's Edition content. I know it's just digital content and blah blah blah but i've bought this game twice and don't want to be screwed out of content I payed for and was told would upgrade no problem. I wish one of the companies would at least let us know help is on the way or something.

                      • Looking over it, it doesn't look like the PSN issues have been resolved yet, which is unfortunate. I can confirm, however, that Activision is providing codes for people who have 1) proof of purchase (receipt) and 2) a physical copy of the game/code card, or a receipt with it. They're kinda paranoid about it and it took 2 weeks to get a response, but they DID provide a new code for my content for Xbone--not for the Sparrow, but that's Gamestop's code, not theirs. Sorry to see that people are still waiting on resolutions, but it's my advice to go through Activision's Destiny Code form. It's stupid, but at least you'll get the majority of your Limited/Collector's content. Make sure you submit them for all the codes you have (not sure if the PS4-exclusive ships are separate DLC tokens).

                        • I don't know if it'll help but I sent emails to a bunch of YouTube gaming people like Boogie2988, Angry Joe, Rich of ReviewTechUSA, as well as IGN with links to all the forum posts on here about this problem. I explained to them what's going on and asked them if they'd be willing to do a video about this and talk about it so maybe they can help spread the word about what's going on and how Bungie has pretty much forsaken us. It might not help but it's worth a shot!

                          • I said I was going to do it and I did, I filed a complaint against them on the Better Business Bureau! I mean I had to considering most of us on PS are still left in the dark and even though for the Xbox users they had it fixed for them, they were never actually told it was fixed and the fact that bungie has no official way to contact them for technical support. I mean this is totally on acceptable and unprofessional of them I said it once and I'll say it again it's basically like they're telling us "Thanks for the money suckers, now eff off and if you have any problems with the game, well two effing bad!"

                          • I finally got a response from activision after week. I waited a week to have them tell me my ticket is invalid. Honestly how hard is it to check through a psn account and verify I already have the damn items. This shouldn't even be happening in the first place.

                              Bumping this thread since I'm having the same issue on PS4. Bought a PS3 Ghost Edition + PS4 Standard and none of the "exclusive" content is transferring. Not sure what we can do at this point since right now I'm flying around in an invisible ship. I guess I can tell people I stole it from Wonder Woman or something. OP you should edit your title so people know this ISN'T fixed on PS4.

                              What about the people like me who didnt purchase the ghost edition? The "Destiny Collector's Edition Digital Content Pack" still says unavailable. I have the advanced warfare blacksmith shader and the red sparrow, they dont transfer. If anyone knows how to fix that please tell me, thanks!
