I've now reinstalled 7 times, microsoft support had no help for me, and I bit the bullet and decided to come here, has anyone figured out a fix or workaround for it?
EDIT: for anyone tl;dring, here's an update on what's been going on: xbox 360 got an update, numerous resets and reinstalls have amounted to nothing, and a fellow community member has asked deej to forward our problems to the support team.

Guess what? I got a new disc and again, nope. Trying one last time before I go straight to bungie

You may have to clear the cache. Delete the game and then unplug the xbox one.

I have also had this error message. I tried installing 4 times last night before i went to bed. I will try disc removal when i get home before i uninstall it again and then i will resort to a factory reset... Pretty disappointing though that you spend money on a game that wont even start up... i've never had this much trouble playing a game in my life. Fingers crossed

Tell me about it. I cannot get any fixes for it and I've only done it four times compared to your 7. I'm going to wait for the weekend and that's my cutoff. If my friends can play a game and I can't, I'm done
