An extra class in a later expansion/DLC almost a given. For that class, how would a Shaman(?) with subclasses consisting of support, situational-control, and healing sound?
Obviously, I'm not very confident in it being called Shaman but if a support type is what we'll be seeing, I'm sure Bungie will give it a spectacular name. Feel free to comment anything about what skills the Shaman(?) should have or [b]Tell us what class you would like to see instead.[/b] With the Destiny release right around the corner, it'd be best to get your ideas for a fourth class in here right now.

If you read the achievements, they read "fully upgrade a hunter/warlock/titan subclass" instead of "the" subclass. The description leaves it open for multiple subclasses. Also, if you look at your character, there is an open spot where you can choose the subclass. Basically, there is evidence in game that we will see more subclasses.

1 ReplyThey should add support subclasses to each. Titans provide some shielding super and become more tanky. Hunters get a trapper/explosives subclass which protects from flanking giving crowd control and whatnot. And warlocks get a healing subclass.

2 RepliesI said no, but I meant no to anything suggested. If you really wanted a name and call it reall support, I'd say call it Engineer, since we might get some sort of space thing in the next game. The super could be to summon the ghost but with a modifiable armor set, or call on a drone.

While a fourth class would be nice, I feel the game is more suited for the beloved trio we already have, but more subclasses for each would be a cool idea, such as giving the hunter some support abilitys, even though they are more of a lone gun

1 ReplyI'd rather just see more subclass options for the current trio. I really like the idea I've seen go around of a class that actually uses the darkness to fight the darkness.

New class? I think that would break the whole trinity idea with 3 classes 3 stats etc. I personally would much rather see new subclasses than another class

I do believe there should be a healer class, but bungie made it clear they want all the classes to partake in killing enemies, not just sitting back and relaxing.

13 RepliesWhat type of Guardian is left? This isn't accurate but Titan is tankish, Warlock is area, and Hunter is single hit kills. An energy draining class? Kind of like a vampire or wight? Sounds like something from the darkness. Maybe a thief type class? But hunters can become invisible already. Barbarian class? Huge up close damage but less armour than a titan. The obvious healer class that won't happen because then everyone will want a healer in their fire team. No I just can't think of what they could add.

I dont see bungie adding a 4th class with how the classes are set Titan = Armor Hunter = Agility Warlock = Recovery each class has its own stat which it is dominant in but I do reckon bungie will add more subclasses I would be willing to bet the 3rd subclass was cut to be put into a expansion pack to make you buy it
