Explain weapons, please
I am new to shooters (i am more to rpg), i would like someone to explain how weapons work, regarding:
1. what kind of weapons we have (i know sniper rifle and shotgun only)
2. what are the most popular kind of weapon for mid range
3. what are the quality levels in this game? (ie. common, rare, epic, legendary)
4. what kind of stats we find in a weapon in destiny? (ie. dmg, fire rate, crit, etc)
5. what paths of upgrading my weapon i have in Destiny? (ie. drops, craft, upgrades, item build tree, etc)
6. whats the best sniper rifle to aim for
7. whats the best mid range weapon to aim for (not machine guns, but something that fires one bullet at a time)
8. how crafting/upgrades works in destiny?

Edited by TheRiceWanderer: 9/7/2014 6:42:56 AMYou can have 3 weapons at once ( 1 Primary, 1 Special, 1 Heavy) 2. I would say this is all about self preference 3. Basic (white), Uncommon (green), Rare (blue), Legendary, (purple), Exotic (gold) 4. Attributes are Rate of Fire, Impact (how much damage each individual shot does, Range ( how far shots travel before firing), Stability, Reload and Magazine. There's also 4 damage types. Kinetic, Void, Solar, Arc 6.The beta only allowed people up to level 8, but I say the best sniper to go for is damage over accuracy (although all snipers are very accurate). 7. You would want the scout rifle which is a semi automatic rifle, accurate and good damage. 8. I don't *think* crafting was in the beta, but the way weapon upgrading works is just to keep using gun.
