is the PVP even good?
So far I haven't seen anything online about any kill streaks or even the ability to go prone! I can totally live without it it's not an issue but does it work good? If you played the beta let me know what it's like

The Iron Banner pvp mode makes it more interesting than normal crucible modes if you spend the time getting good gear

Besides the Iron Banner game mode, it's not super competitive. It's sure is the most fun I've had playing a Bungie game since Halo 3.

3 RepliesDude... -blam!- perks. Finally, a game where I'm not dying every ten seconds and I actually had a decent k/d! You know why? Cuz there were no -blam!-ing perks! The pvp is -blam!-ing amazing. If you actually like perks (don't see why...) then it might not be for you. My opinion, best pvp I've ever played period.

3 RepliesOnly thing i would change is the always on mini-map. I mean, you can't really sneak up on someone or flank the enemy team without being seen on the mini-map. Rather then that it was pretty fun on that small map, the other one was a little to big imo. Excited to see the other maps.

I couldn't put my finger on it but even when I was destroying everyone and getting first place it wasn't that fun for me. The rest of the game seems excellent. Possibly still going to be one of my favorite ever games. But I think I just expected them to do something different with the PvP. Something unique. Like the main game. I wanted it to blow me away and it just seemed very very average. It doesn't even seem like it's part of the same game...to me at least. But I'm a proud battlefield 3 and 4 vet with stupid amounts of hours dumped into both. So I'm probably just as biased as any CODfag that didn't like it.

1 ReplyI found I couldn't really enjoy PVP as much as I did PVE. It felt extremely fast paced. If you didn't go into a PVP match absolutely full of enery then you were gonna get slaughtered. Usually I like to take my time and be sneaky but the maps were too small for that type of play style.

I think the pvps great with the grenades, supers and melees. It's overall better than cod and battlefield

I tried out the PVP at E3 this year, and I can certainly say it felt familiar and was a loooooot of fun.

Thought it was fantastic. Truly don't understand where people are getting the idea that it's just garbage. And saying that's the reason they're RENTING instead of buying is absolutely a retarded decision. Try it out friend.
