Better boss loot system

I feel that right now when you take down the last boss at the end of a story mission, it's slightly anticlimactic. You spend all this time epically battling this huge boss to just wait around for the few seconds to get to the stat screen. I know that the next screen gives you loot but it's so much better to watch the boss go down and release your loot! Or even if there is a chest afterwords similar to skyrims system. It's small but it makes the boss fights seem a little bit more in depth. It also gives you something to look forward to instead of idly standing around for the mission to end. Please tell me what you all think! Also please excuse any spelling and/or grammatical errors, I'm not used to typing on my phone this way XD

  • I have agreed to every thread like this since the beta. So I've been trying to think of the reasons why Bungie decided to do this... Only thing I can think of is that as the game progresses the boss missions and strikes will get crazier and crazier. As the difficulty increases I think that Bungie is trying to give us a window to...BREATH. Rather than having to run around like a crazy person picking up loot after the fight of our lives. Again I agree with the OP but this is the only reasoning I can think of...
