Does someones K/D or wins give more validity to their argument?

My opinion is the spoiler to avoid skewing the results.
I see all over these forums people mentioning their K/D like it makes their argument more valid. I think a good argument should stand on it's own regardless of who is giving it. I just want to get the Communities opinion on this. It's my hope that most people judge an argument by its reasoning not by the stats of the person making it.
• 146 people (at the time of me writing this comment) have absolutely no idea what kind of game Destiny is. Let's face it, this poll is obviously intended towards the discussion about Destiny, because it's on Destiny forums. The problem is, Destiny is more than just a competitive multiplayer game, and if you have only played Crucible, no matter how successful you are there, doesn't matter if you are the #1 FPS player in the world and have never died in Crucible while racking up 30+ kills every game... that doesn't mean you know jack shit about the rest of the game and have no place in a discussion about anything else than Crucible. Honestly, though, there should be an option for "it depends", because there is that low chance to land on a discussion where it is relevant.
