PC PLEASE! This games was dev on PC and now we feel betrayed! WHY BUNGIE?!
Why does Bungie not care about the PC gaming industry? There should be no reason why Destiny isn't coming to PC on the 9th. PC players are the most dedicated and passionate players out there. I don't want to own outdated hardware to play a game at 30fps! I want to play at 120fps and with ultra settings that blow PS4 and XBone out of the water! I know the platform SKUs are important to a company your size, but please, it's just one more platform - how could it be "more complicated" (looking at you Lars Bakken). And besides, wasn't this game designed on PC? You should be

3 RepliesPathetic groveling ..... if i've learned anything about PC gamers.. its that they are incredibly whiney.... You're also completeley uninformed about the product... its locked at 1080p/ 30 fps.. so your computer isn't going to help you.... As for most dedicated gamers.... that's relative and not a point for contention nor could it be used just for you people.... "How could it be more complicated to port something to PC".... this is the biggest hole in your sob story.... it's incredibly difficult to manage, you even said it yourself you want 120 fps and all the other needy crap PC gamers want... and let me tell you if Destiny was made for the pc and it could make it a higher framed game as opposed to last gen consoles.. Im all for it.... It's not the case.... Betrayed... bungie doesnt owe you.. nor me (someone who will happily be playing this game on my xbox.... even happier now knowing that pc people are crying over it) anything.... so you havent been betrayed... overreatcing douche... this is so agitating [spoiler]People who don't use reason or logic are the worst[/spoiler]

1. Destiny has taken 6 years to develop. Bungie probably has it's own reason 2. PC gets enough awesome games. Let consoles get a good game for themselves for once

I dont really care. I will treat this game as a exclusive like I have with multiple other games in the past. If it doesn't come to my platform then so be it.

That mad dash to include the ultimate in PC corners is what is driving consoles into quick obsolescence. I am also a PC gamer, but don't mind at all that Destiny is exclusive, at least for now, to consoles.

Fun fact: pcs are involved in practically all game development activities... That doesn't mean the game is optimized to run on the plethora of pc hardware out there.

4 RepliesEdited by PhNx Hellfire: 8/28/2014 2:27:11 AMFirstly, it's "This game was developed on PC" Secondly, you'll get a much better response if you request things of developers or ask if who of local online users would like a PC version rather then saying "Why, why, why?". Lastly, when you get older, you'll find that developers have a lot of decisions to make even before the first line of code is written and this is one of those decisions. This isn't to say at any time during the development process of the game Bungie won't decide to pursue this, but it complicates things. A very good place to make a topic about this is either in the Destiny tab (my opinion best choice) or the Gaming tab or do both and see what the results differ.

Have you ever considered that it is significantly easier to develop and optomize for consoles (one or two sets of consistent unchanging hardware). Thats one very large reason to develop for consoles first with the possibilty of a PC release later.
