Should I rebuild my Skyrim build?

I kind of want to completely rebuild my Skyrim build, but it's a 13 gig download, and I want to add mods that make the game MORE difficult. As it stands, my current build is pretty unstable. Crashes all the time and such. It's unplayable at times, so I need to do it, but it's just all that time and effort to do so. What should I do guys? Should I start from scratch with a harder modset? Or should I try to fix what's broke in my current build?

  • Chances are you have a conflicting mod so rebuilding won't do you much good if you install all the same mods. Isn't there a difficulty slider you can adjust as well? Are you already maxed?

  • I modded my game and found the perfect setup. I have like 200+ mods and the game looks amazing. Getting the Skyrim memory patch and enb boost go a long way and fix a ton of common crashes. I rarely crash if ever after hours of gameplay. Having to redo my Skyrim numerous times due to instability sucked but once I learned how to clean mods, proper mod load order, and other tweaks if had to redo it all it wouldn't take me long. I have everything noted and organized. I also backup my last known stable build so in-case something does screw up I simply robocopy it back.
