Comes out in 5 days if I'm correct. I played both Metro games on 360. Should I buy it at release or wait for the price to drop?
And yes I know it is 2033 and Last Light, not a new game.
Edited by jesse : 8/22/2014 6:24:23 PMFrom the videos I saw, they completely revamped the game visually and even changed some game mechanics. They corrected a lot of mistakes and early reviews said that it has a new feel to it visually due to the bright lighting and increased detail, I hear theyre both gonna be for sale individually for 25 or 50 bundled together so id grab one and see how u like it

will there be a demo?

Great games, great remastering, great deal, great price, why wouldn't you?

This is a question that I asked myself in the past, I went with the latter answer in your post, OP.

It's already a dropped price because it's $50. If you already played em both though I don't know why you'd want to buy it again.. Unless it's really that good. I'm buying Redux and it looks great, I've never played either.

You get a discount on steam if you own the previous titles :)

Last light was my game of the year for 2013. Great atmosphere, good scary parts, and a fantastic story that I'm excited to relive. Pretty good for a game I got as my 3rd game in a buy 2, get 1 free.

From what I've heard, they've altered 2033's gameplay to be more like Last Light's. Will definetely get it at some point since 2033's stealth was pretty bad at times.

I dunno about you but I am getting it. 2033 was a great game, but it was held back by clunky controls. Plus, both games'll look beautiful at 60fps.

Never played either games, but I've always wanted to. Definitely going to get it once it comes out
