Any Kinect considerations?
I know the kinect is off and on in terms of successful functionality, so don't come in here posting responses like I'm saying it's perfect...
But voice commands and some gestures have worked in games before really well...
It be nice to voice command my sparrow to appear or simple say navigation to see the nearest nav point without having to stop and pull up the ghost
Edit: Ok I understand the new adjustment to make the Xbox run better by redirecting resources... I don't believe that will include VOICE COMMANDS... As far as I can tell it's just camera related stuff.
I can't imagine them throwing out aaaaall their voice commands and screwing the snap system by that change.

Not a fan of motion controls but using voice commands for your ghost would be awesome.

It would be nice to say "ghost" or something to bring out your ghost to go to orbit or like you said, bring out your sparrow. It would be even nicer if some devs who support the kinect like that would also support the PS4 camera.

I'd rather use my Kinect for short recording when I'm in a game. Or just quickly going to an App or see messages etc.

To get x box one to 1080p they had to use the processing power set aside for the kinect, so no there is no kinect usage ... Sorry

8 RepliesUnless you want your xbone version to be 900p, this game can't get both kinect and 1080p since the xbone is quite weak.

4 RepliesShort answer, Google "destiny kinect" (without quotes). Slightly longer answer: On the XB1, Microsoft unlocked the GPU process time previously reserved for the kinect. Bungie took advantage of this to improve resolution. Unless Microsoft can find a way to have the kinect coexist with games and not have it tie up GPU runtime, support seems unlikely.

2 RepliesI agree just something like "ghost sparrow", "ghost show waypoints" or while in orbit "ghost go to the tower" in my experience gameplay wise the kinect is awful but as a menu tool it is incredible and as a quick menu tool it can make combat more fluid like in mass effect 3 with being able to direct your allies without breaking combat and going into a menu
