Sub-groups within Groups- What do YOU want?

Howdy all, with OTK opening up to the public again next month and the big group update coming shortly, I figured now would be a good time to see what Bnet wants in terms of divisions! OTK is likely going to be a hub for people that want to achieve things in Destiny- be it exotic equipment, achievements/trophies, high Crucible rankings, what have you. But we know that in this next group update, Bungie.net will introduce 'clans' which can unify under a single private group. This allows you to make divisions within a group. Everybody can be a member of OTK, but you can group up even more within that into platform, specialty (raiding, storyline, Crucible, etc.), timezones, anything you can think of. So my question to both OTK members and the Bungie.net community... how do you think this feature should be used? To what extent and how should a group utilize this? These miniature sub-groups are apparently going to have limits as to how many people they can have, but since everybody can unite in the group forum in addition to their sub-group forum that is OK. OTK is a group about achieving things, so I think an interesting way to do things would be to let people split into exactly WHAT they achieved to get in- all the achievements in a Bungie game, earning the H3 Katana, etc. But I want to hear all your thoughts! PS BUNGLE will need to be a subgroup.

  • Divisions could be set aside for which in-game area of achievements they specialize in. Ex: Campaign/Storyline Multiplayer There could also be divisions for Destiny multiplayer, which could include: Competitive Non-Competitive Just a suggestion. I feel as if divisions could be used for lighter purposes too, such as groups to run with in-game. Fireteams are only three people each, so divisions could hold six or nine people who agree to play together online because they're friends, have similar interests, etc. It's something that would require discussion on Xbox and (if there are PSN members here) PlayStation, since we'd have to figure out who goes with who on that one.
