Sniper Rifle sound effect.
Can you give the sniper rifles in Destiny a more thunderous sound effect with a long hollow echo after the shot?
I'd like to hear the sniper rifle shots in Destiny really RESOUND throughout the battlefield!
Especially in PvP, this would add a lot to the feel of the combat.

So the squeaky toy sounds for the exotics is not your concern, but the average sniper rifle is.

6 RepliesSure, increase the sound, makes it easier for me to find you in the crucible then. I hate campers, they play no part in destiny PVP and are a hindrance to the team objectives. Dedicated snipers are only out for one thing - themselves. /target team_friendly_sniper /spit /golfclap /rude

Like...And fix the sniper rifle reload sound. It is so bad that it physically hurts to listen to my sniper reloading.

In Battlefield 4 the sniper rifles feel like bb guns... They make no sound at all but in Battlefield Bad Company 2! There is some real sniping!

I think the snipers should sound powerful, but not really loud cuz it's the future, the latest in rifle technology keeps them as quiet as possible. It would be nice if the rifles had a little more kick to them, but still were quiet enough to keep the player concealed.

1 ReplyYes please. They do sound kinda wimpy. I used to own a 30-06, that thing sounds like a rifle. The rifle in the game to me sounds less powerful than your standard 338 sniper rifle, when that rifles mag looks like it could maybe take 50 cal rounds.

6 RepliesI have to disagree with the sound! This is taking place far down the future line, I believe that as a sniper you should be silent and stealthy which includes your rifle. So to be honest I think the quietness of which the rifle has is new and should stay as it is. Remember this is in the future any god damn thing is possible especially in which the timeline they gave us! They could have made snipers so quite that it literally doesn't make a sound for all we know. We do not know what real time unfolds, so take that into consideration, this isnt call of duty, battlefield, or even halo. This is a stand alone game with its own unique quality, timeline, and story. This isn't a run off series, so I hope the snipers stay quite.
