What class are you definitely NOT going to pick on 9/9?
Also please comment why not

Titan has coolest armor from what I played, though I spent more time with warlock than anything, I just wish the warlock felt more "wizardy", it's a shame that all classes are limited to one major ability

Hunter., too many playing already. Hardcore raiding for me, so titan defender maxed out.

My favorite is the hunter because it's a versatile class and it's background. My second favorite is the warlock because I like how the gear looks. I don't like the idea of being a walking bullet shield so the Titan wasn't really my option

Edited by ShadyDan56: 8/18/2014 4:26:23 PMI played all three in the Alpha and Beta and just didn't mesh with the Hunter play style in either. I liked the Warlock best during the Alpha and Titan best during the Beta so I'll be playing as a Titan on Sept. 9 and for the foreseeable future.

1 ReplyWarlock is my least favorite. I want to be either in the middle of the action owning things with my fist (Titan) or long range headshotting everything (Hunter). I don't want to be the support in between.

Titan- reminds me too much of Attack on Titan, and that's scary ._. Actually, the real reason is: I prefer more stealthy classes with smaller character build. I'd rather either be the middle man or the support, not the tank that ends up in the front. I'm going to be a Warlock first, then I'll do hunter, then I'll do titan. After I level up all 3, I'll probably stick with warlock.

Titan because in some weird way I feel like I'll be in MC's boots and I'd choose hunter over titan because I rarely pick that class type in rpgs. Warlock is the way to go.

I played Hunter most in Beta, but I didn't like the Golden Gun animation (He-Man bug zapper). I love playing "stealth" but the GG just ruins the Hunter class for me. At least Bungie is buffing the pulse rifle and hand cannon. In the beta, there were 4 guns that were truly competitive in PvP (and more deadly in PvE, too): AR, scout rifle, shotgun, and sniper rifle. Only SR and AR are primary. As a Hunter, I played the SR most, because the AR really doesn't fit the class--isn't stealthy, Hunter doesn't have the hit points/armor to go toe-to-toe. If I could play Hunter with a pulse rifle that could tightly group rapid-fire-rounds-to-the-head at a decent range, that'd be sweet. To me the pulse rifle is the right gun for Hunters: killer-quick, precise, and deadly. The other class I worked up to lvl 8 was Titan. I mean if AR is the best primary gun in the game, with crazy-tight grouping at decent range, reasonably high Impact, and off-the-charts fire rate, all you need is a tank-suit to be a lumbering death machine. Oh, yeah, and a two-button-panic-smash-from-hell. I was amazed how many of the top Crucible players ran Hunter instead of Titan, then I realized: because slow. And because Titan's got no flash. If you're good enuf in the Crucible to have your own YouTube channel, dafuq you gonna play Titan for, when Hunters got a freakin superhero cape. I played Warlock the least in Beta. For that reason alone, I might roll up a Warlock on 9/9. Having only got to lvl 4 with my 'lock before Bungie pulled the beta plug, I never really figure this class out. Like, it's a Mage, right? With a shotgun. Ooookaaaay, why? Course, the only gripe I see on the forum about the Warlock is it's [i]armband[/i]. Seriously, that's your issue, 'locks? The armband? This class must be freaking perfect. Plus, trenchcoat, nuff said. But what primary gun should I run? I mean getting shotgunned by a guy who can throw lightning bolts is a nice piece of punctuation, but if your ready-carry is an AR like everybody else, it takes a bit of the magic out of the class. Now if I could rock a deadly hand cannon named Timur's Wand, I'd be on Twitch, Project-Runwaying the -blam- outta that Assassin's skirt. So which would I def not choose on 9/9? The Human, because Humans gotta [i]dye[/i] their hair that color, and they gotta [i]don[/i] their armor. I'll be running PS4: clayeponym if you wanna add me.

I played as all three, and simply performed the poorest as a warlock. Simple as that.

Im not really a huge fan of the titans speed. Warlocks good enough but titans just feels way to sluggish.

Due to being an achievement / trophy ocd lunatic, I will have to roll all 3 but I'm not investing in anything but my Titan other than getting the achievements on the other classes.

For the the warlock, it's armor goes down very fast and I do not like glide

1 ReplyI like all the classes but the warlocks jump/glide ability Is what kills it for me, I love the double jump from the hunter I don't mind the titans boost like a jet pack, but the warlocks glide just makes you a easy target and can't get you to higher areas

Great to see there is so much diversity in our primary classes. It shows that Bungie has done a great job in creating the classes. I myself am going to pick the Titan last. I like the Warlock most because of its skills and the backstory of the Hunter so it will take me a while to develop these. Maybe a Titan for the expansion😊
