Raid: You haven't played it yet you think you are an expert.
I'm just going to say that, raids in general are hard only at first when nobody knows the fights but you are wrong in a lot of the things you say considering after a while raids do become much easier and it's possible to carry peoples.

I have played raids before and Bungie have often said that what they're going for is similar to MMO raids, which leads me to believe it requires the same components. "After a while raids do become much easier" What does that even mean? It's not like the difficulty level is reduced over time. You just learn how to get through it (which would be far more challenging without planning and strategy, as I have already stated, which is also prohibited by the very nature of matchmaking). "It's possible to carry peoples" ok, now it's you who haven't played raids. Go try and carry a full raid through in WoW by yourself and come back and tell me if it's possible.

You must not have gone very far in mmo raiding then, raids become easier because more people know the fights and are used to them, raiding is a dance, once you learn the steps you can do it without thinking, also, people get more geared over time which makes the raid a breeze, you are really dumb if you need to tell me to carry a whole group by myself, nobody ever carry a group by themselves but sometime you end up with some retards or under geared people, I never said you could carry a whole group but carrying one or two might be possible later on, you just make me laugh obviously you don't have that much experience in raiding, guilds sell carry spot and things like that.

My point is matchmade players will not be able to "learn" how to get through it because they won't ever have a planning phase or anything, they'll just get dropped in and will die until they give up. My point about carrying was tied in to the fact that matchmaking promotes lone-wolf playstyle, which is detrimental to raiding. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing, so unless you are here to say either you think raids should include matchmaking or should not, then just stop. I'm not going to argue with you about who has done more raids or who has carried raids before.

Well, you never know after a few weeks maybe some people could down it in matchmaking and people with a group missing 1-2 person could use the matchmaking to find people quickly, even if they add a matchmaking it won't hurt you or any elitist that believe raids need to be only for people with 5 friend or willing to use the forum to find people, which is just has bad as a matchmaking but takes longer.
