Edited: 9/9/2014 8:39:04 PM PermalinkI got a pair of Destiny faceplates at the Best Buy midnight launch I went to last night! I think they only had a handful and the guy that got them didn't have a pair of golds so he gave them to me. I'll try and post a picture later, but they're on my phone and can't get them off quickly. I'm not sure if they're for sale anywhere, but I'm excited to see how they look on the headset! Edit: I decided to not be TOTALLY lazy and at least share the really crappy picture I took last night to send to a friend when I got home. I picked up the white headset, so I'm really hoping the black cover doesn't really REALLY bad, or maybe one white one Destiny will look good. Again, I have no idea where you can get these at retail, but I got them for free from Best Buy at the midnight release.

The Sony Gold wireless headset (which is compatible with the PS4, Xbox One, and PC) features the ability to swap out face plates. Currently the only face plate available is for Infamous Second Son. The limited edition (Glacial White) Gold headset is also coming out on September 9th. I feel that it would be awesome if Destiny faceplates were made available for these headsets and possibly for the Turtle Beach EarForce SEVEN series headsets which offer the same feature. Faceplates are currently hard to find and the ones for Turtle Beach headsets tend to be a little overpriced. Depending on the price point that Sony intends to sell the faceplates at when they finally start selling them, I feel that this may be a good merchandising opportunity for Bungie.
