All this talk of "Become Legend," along with the cosmic scope of Destiny (e.g. the mysterious, deity-like forces of the Traveler and the Darkness), not to mention the space magic, makes me wonder exactly how literally Bungie means by becoming legend. Because I don't just want to upgrade my character with legendary and exotic gear and be done... Basically, what I'm saying is, our characters had better be so superpowered by the end of Destiny 3 that they're basically demigods. I will accept nothing less as "legend." I want my Titan to punch people through buildings like Superman. I want my Hunter to possess a throwing knife so potent that it ricochets through crowds of enemies, eviscerating them, like Yondu's Arrow in Guardians of the galaxy. I want my Warlock to be so versed in the ways of space magic that she can disintegrate enemies with just a touch, like Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen. No excuses, Bungie.
