So no matter when you play you will have a firefight team,pvp team. One goal we have is to have 200 clan members by 9-9-14. Awesome! Just what I wanted to hear. I worked hard on my guardians and had fun but in the end it was for game testing purposes. My guardians sacrifice hadn't gone unnoticed though and they helped to develop the final game. I can't wait to start fresh on September 9th!!

[u]No, you can't get your Guardians back, and stop asking about it.[/u] This isn't a matter of Bungie doing this because it's convenient, or because they're "cruel" or because they're inept. Bungie is doing this because Destiny, because this [i]software[/i], [b]requires [/b]it. The game will change dramatically from what we have played, and while you may not be aware of what has changed, I can assure you the changes will monumental. From a programming standpoint, this makes converting and bringing the guardians into this new version of Destiny not only largely impractical, but also near impossible. Bungie has put in COUNTLESS hours into this game, and we as beta testers have also put in quite a few hours - but we played video games - Bungie has been slaving away at [i]making[/i] video games. What Bungie is doing is infinitely more difficult, and no amount of our fun beta hours should mean that Bungie should input hundreds of more work hours to preserve our silly, low-level beta characters. It's not going to happen, and if we respect Bungie and Destiny, we shouldn't want it to happen either. All of you should be glad making new characters and experiencing the creation of characters again when Destiny is released, because the experience will be different and distinct from what you remember. FFS, quit whining. If there are those of you who still don't agree with me, I'm afraid you are missing the point of the Beta by several fatal miles, and I cannot do, and will not seek to do, anything to assuage your childish mourning. Tl;dr: Cool beans, Bungie. No worries about the Guardians; do what you think is necessary - we were just glad to participate in whatever way we could.

Wait so what was the point of the iron banner rewards? I hardly think my titan's frilly sash will affect gameplay balancing. But for real though, that frilly sash...made me feel pretty.

Took me an easy 3 hrs to get to lvl 8 but the upgrades i got after lvl was hard during pvp for me and all my good gear is gone if you kept are characters for the real game we would have an advantage than the others who did not play the beta and that would be a reward for us but no we got to start over and we all have to go through the missions of russia again that will be boring for us since we already did it so many times.

Glad they finally answered the question and put us all out of our misery. The people who wanted know, now know, and the people who couldn't care less don't have hear the question asked and debated, ever again.

As I place the last bit of vault gear I have collected in the longboat, I begin to sing a low and mournful song of bravery and valor, I place the glimmer between my hunter and titan, laying beside each other, their ghosts besides them as well, the list of enemies too many to add to my honored dead's feet, I know their death guard await them when they arrive in Valhalla, the old gods await eagerly the arrival of these two, and many thousands of others who sacrificed their short lives for the greater good. As the sails fill and the heavily laden longboat moves into the Baltic sea, I fire my arrow, a flame against the darkening sky, watching it hit between my honored dead, and the flames rise into the night sky and I close my eyes, imagining them still standing in the tower, waiting for that next mission, eagerly waiting to reclaim the earth and her sisters from the darkness. I was fully expecting this to happen. Doesn't surprise and, no, I'm not upset. I know each and every guardian played an integral role in helping to refine the game of Destiny and I was excited to apart of that. Thanks, Bungie! Love, ~Cracker P.S. I find this ironic because InvitedCracker was the first randomly generated gamertag given to me by Microsoft with my original Xbox. ;)

Please the hand cannon in the special or secondary slot but still have special ammo count as primary ammo specifically only for the hand cannon because in e3 you had a rifle as your primary and a hand cannon as your secondary so change it that way

I'm saying a obelisk should be erected somewhere in the final game setup to honor the apha and beta guardians kinda like a large force that held the darkness at bay to buy time, but hey I'm just a humble gamer asking for a miracle.
